Alpha Jym Review

Alpha Jym is a health supplement designed to boost testosterone. Low testosterone levels can cause serious health problems, particularly in men.

In fact, even a mild testosterone deficiency can have heavy consequences on health and quality of life.

Symptoms of low testosterone range from depression and poor memory, to being overweight and unable to get into shape.

Suffers of low testosterone report long-term fatigue, trouble sleeping, low or non-existent sex drive, and difficulties concentrating at work.

Using natural ingredients, Alpha Jym aims to reverse the negative effects of low testosterone by giving your natural testosterone production a boost.

In this Alpha Jym review, we will find out if Alpha Jym can really reverse the effects of low testosterone.

Alpha Jym is certainly not considered one of the best testosterone boosters, but how does it measure up to the top products available.

Is Alpha Jym an effective testosterone booster, or are there better options available? Let’s find out.

Alpha Jym Review: The Short Version

Alpha Jym does contain a few legitimate, testosterone boosting ingredients that have been independently researched and verified.

What’s more, the doses of those ingredients used in the formula are reasonable and have been shown, through scientific studies, to be effective.

However, compared to the competition, Alpha Jym is a poor man’s testosterone booster. And while it is marginally cheaper than a premium test booster, it is a whole lot less effective.

The short of it: Don’t buy Alpha Jym.

Alpha Jym Ingredients: What’s In Alpha Jym?

The most important aspect of any t-booster is the ingredients. We need to know if the ingredients have been scientifically proven to increase testosterone or play a beneficial role in the body’s testosterone production mechanisms.

We also need to know that the ingredients are high-quality, pure, and produced in a hygienic, quality-controlled environment. The best testosterone boosters will be manufactured in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practises) certified (or equivalent) facilities. Such facilities meet the requirements of the FDA in terms of hygiene and control.

To its credit, Alpha Jym is manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility. This means we can be certain that the stated ingredients and actually in the bottle at the stated amounts.

The active, testosterone booster ingredients included in Alpha Jym are fenugreek, ashwagandha root, damiana leaf, diindolylmethane, and eurycoma longifolia extract.

Fenugreek Powder (500mg): Fenugreek is a herb that grows in parts of the mediterranean and Asia. It is commonly used in cooking and is one of the main ingredients of the popular spice mix garam masala. In addition to its culinary qualities, fenugreek has powerful medicinal properties and has been used in medicine for thousands of years.

Recent studies have shown that fenugreek is also a powerful testosterone booster. A 500mg dose of fenugreek given daily boosted the testosterone levels of men in a controlled trial and significantly improved their overall strength and reduced their body fat percentage [1].

Another study showed a 46% increase in testosterone levels as a result of taking a fenugreek supplement [2]. This study also used a 500mg dose—the same amount as used in Alpha Jym.

Ashwagandha Root Extract (500mg): Alpha Jym’s second ingredient is another verified testosterone booster, withania somnifera, more commonly known as ashwagandha or winter cherry.

Ashwagandha is a small shrub found in India, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. Its benefits are varied and include stress reduction, memory improvement, stabilisation of blood sugar levels, and the reduction of inflammation. It has also been shown to significantly increase testosterone levels in healthy men.

One study found that ashwagandha increased testosterone levels, reduced body fat, and improved strength and muscle mass in young male subjects [3].

Another study recorded a 10-20% increase in testosterone levels (the lower levels were among the participants who were cigarette smokers) and suggested the possibility of an increase in fertility as well [4].

A third study demonstrated a 15% increase in testosterone levels among participants after taking 600mg of ashwagandha for two months [5].

Damiana Leaf (500mg): Here is where the ingredients of Alpha Jym get a little more suspect. Damiana leaf, while thought of as an aphrodisiac, is not a proven testosterone booster. That’s not to say it might not boost testosterone, but currently, the scientific jury is out on the topic.

One study, that gave 200mg of damiana leaf in combination with a selection of other natural supplements, found the supplement had no effect on serum testosterone levels [6].

Another study, conducted on rats, demonstrated an increase in sexual activity when the subject rat was sexually inactive but no change in rats that were already sexually energetic [7].

Clearly, more research is needed before damiana leaf can be considered a viable choice for inclusion in a testosterone booster. In particular, studies on humans are needed.

Diindolylmethane (250mg): Diindolylmethane (DIM) is naturally created in the body when digesting broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables.

Like damiana leaf, the research on DIM is inconclusive, especially in regard to its reputed testosterone boosting qualities.

One study does suggest that DIM plays a role in controlling estrogen levels by preventing the conversion of testosterone into estrogen [8]. However, more research is needed to confirm these findings.

Unfortunately, DIM is another strange choice for Alpha Jym as it simply isn’t known one way or the other that it really does boost testosterone levels.

Eurycoma Longifolia Extract (100mg): Eurycoma longifolia is a flowering shrub from Indonesia. Its reputed health benefits include correcting erectile dysfunction, improving male fertility, and boosting sexual desire. It is also thought to improve the performance of athletes and increase the body’s natural testosterone production.

However, like many of Alpha Jym’s ingredients, there is little evidence of its efficacy as a testosterone booster. Studies have produced mixed and inconclusive results.

One study, which was assessing whether eurycoma longifolia consumption could be considered doping, found no significant difference in testosterone levels after six weeks of use [9].

Another study reported an increase in testosterone among 90% of male participants who had low testosterone levels, bringing their levels back into the normal range [10].

Many studies confirm eurycoma longifolia has positive effects on sexual arousal and fertility, but more evidence is required before anyone can claim for certain that it has testosterone boosting abilities.

Quercetin (250mg): The last (supposedly) active Alpha Jym ingredient is quercetin, a flavonoid that is believed to reduce inflammation and have antioxidant properties.

While there is research to suggest quercetin is beneficial for allergy sufferers and can lower high blood pressure, there is no evidence it increases the production of testosterone.

As a dietary supplement it might be effective in some cases, but for a product intended for people who want more testosterone quercetin seems an odd choice.

Alpha Jym Ingredients List Conclusion

What’s surprising about Alpha Jym is how few ingredients it contains. Top products designed to for boosting testosterone levels tend to have around nine to 12 active ingredients. And each one will be proven to create healthy testosterone levels and enhance reproductive health in men. There is no vitamin d, no minerals, no D-Aspartic acid, and not even many herb extracts.

And while one might expect one or maybe even two dud ingredients, about half of the Alpha Jym ingredients are unsubstantiated.

Is Alpha Jym Testosterone Booster Worth It?

If you want to raise testosterone levels naturally, there are far better products available than Alpha Jym. With only a couple of verified testosterone boosting ingredients, Alpha Jym is not worth it.

You would do just as well to buy fenugreek and ashwaganda root extract separately and take the recommended doses each day. Buying them as part of the Alpha Jym t-booster means you also have to pay for ingredients that might well be doing absolutely nothing.

Is It Safe To Take Alpha Jym?

Yes. While some of the ingredients are not effective testosterone boosters, none of them is considered unsafe to consume.

How Do I You Take Alpha Jym?

Take three capsules with a meal twice per day. When not training, take Alpa Jym in the morning and evening. If you train take Alpha Jym one hour before you begin and then once more in the morning or evening.

When Will I See Results From Taking Alpha Jym?

Customers have reported long delays in results. With so few genuine testosterone boosters included in Alpha Jym, it may be that you don’t see any noticeable changes.

Alpha Jym Review Conclusion

Rather than buying Alpha Jym and paying for ingredients that might not work, we recommend choosing a better natural testosterone booster, such as Prime Male, that contains scientifically proven ingredients. Achieving a healthy hormone balance, muscle growth, fat burning, and better sexual performance, will all be easier with a product that has ingredients that definitely work.
