Prime Shred Review
Prime Shred is a fat burner from Health and Nutrition ltd that’s designed to increase energy levels, thermogenesis, and focus, while working as a metabolism booster. It claims to promote fast, whole body fat burning with an advanced, high potency, clinically backed vegan formula.
How does PrimeShred compare to other weight loss supplements though? Not very well. In fact, as soon as you look closer, it falls apart in every way. In the following review, we’ll explain how.
Prime Shred Hardcore Fat Burner Review
Prime Shred Hardcore Fat Burner contains green tea extract, l-tyrosine, l-theanine, rhodiola rosea root, caffeine anhydrous, cayenne pepper, DMAE, green coffee, bioperine, and vitamin b complex.
Many of these will burn fat cells, unfortunately most are used in such small doses they can’t meet their potential. You then have two that are too strong and put you at risk of side effects. These are all then packed in with unproven ingredients likely to do nothing but take up space.
This is all made worse by a price tag that matches or exceeds most other fat burners. When you aren’t guaranteed to lose weight, may experience side effects, and won’t even save any money, there’s no reason to buy Prime Shred.
You’d be much better using a proven fat burner like Instant Knockout Cut. Using only perfect doses of proven ingredients while actually saving you money, it’s simply a better weight loss supplement in every way.
PrimeShred Fat Burner Ingredients
Green Tea Extract – 500 mg
Green tea extract is put in weight loss supplements as it’s rich in a catechin called EGCG, which is a type of antioxidant, and contains a small amount of natural caffeine.
EGCG boosts lipolysis, so you burn stored fat quicker, regulates blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels, aids heart and brain functions, relieves stress, and helps combat many illnesses. (1).
Caffeine then boosts your metabolic rate, so you burn calories faster, and raises your energy levels, increasing your physical performance to help you build more lean muscle mass and burn even more calories and fat.
The problem is, PrimeShred contains just 500 mg of green tea. With most sources of green tea being only 50% EGCG and 400 to 500 mg being required for optimal results, there simply isn’t enough green tea present here to be effective (2).
L-Tyrosine – 300 mg
L-tyrosine is an amino acid which regulates neurotransmitters in the plasma. Keeping these at the required levels keeps your brain healthy and functioning.
This provides benefits like boosting your mood and focus and preventing mental fatigue, stress, and tiredness, all of which will aid your workout performance and help you burn fat and calories much faster (3).
Unfortunately, between 500 and 2,000 mg of l-tyrosine must be consumed each day to cause these effects (4). As PrimeShred contains just 300 mg of l-tyrosine, it’s far too weak to noticeably produce any of these effects.
L-Theanine – 250 mg
The amino acid l-theanine offers a variety of health benefits, most notably boosting your immune system, reducing stress and anxiety, improving focus, relaxation, and sleep, and optimising your overall health and wellness (5).
These are all beneficial for weight loss as they enhance your exercise performance and reduce the risk of injury. This means you can train longer and harder while not missing workouts, which will burn calories and fat faster and boost your metabolism.
The problem is the safe daily dose of l-theanine is 100 to 200 mg. As PrimeShred contains 250 mg per serving, it puts you at risk of side effects like headaches, irritability, and nausea (6).
Rhodiola Rosea Root – 250 mg
Rhodiola rosea root extract comes from an Arctic flowering plant and has been widely used in traditional medicine for years to treat anxiety, depression, fatigue, and stress, boost cognitive functions, focus, metabolism, and physical performance, and regulate blood sugar levels (7).
The problem is, most of these beliefs are unfounded. An ability to reduce fatigue and stress are the only claims that are proven and, even in these areas, a minimum of 288 mg of rhodiola rosea is required each day to see them.
As Prime Shred has just 250 mg per serving, you’re unlikely to see any effects from it, and it can even cause side effects like dizziness, dry mouth, and drug interactions (8).
Caffeine Anhydrous – 225 mg
Caffeine anhydrous is a concentrated, dehydrated, stronger form of caffeine, which is among the most popular and powerful stimulants on Earth.
Caffeine improves cognitive performance and is beneficial for losing weight as it boosts energy levels, lipolysis, metabolism, and thermogenesis, while reducing fatigue.
These effects promote natural fat burning and help you increase the intensity and duration of your workouts, all of which benefit weight loss.
For these effects to occur, your caffeine intake must be 200 mg per day (9). As Prime Shred contains 225 mg per serving, many will find it too strong, especially if they consume caffeine in other sources too, and may experience side effects like jitters or anxiety.
Cayenne Pepper – 200 mg
Cayenne pepper extract is what gives many peppers their taste and heat. It also stimulates thermogenesis in humans, a process where your internal temperature rises, initiating body fat breakdown and increasing rates of metabolism and calorie and fat burning (10).
Beyond weight loss, cayenne pepper extract also helps reduce pain and inflammation and controls appetite, making it easier to stick to a healthy diet and exercise regimen and lose weight quickly.
The problem is, cayenne pepper must be consumed in doses of around 500 mg per day to be effective. As Prime Shred contains just 200 mg per serving, it’s unlikely to be of any use.
DMAE – 150 mg
DMAE (dimethylethanolamine) is a derivative of choline which boosts the production of neurotransmitters, improves memory, skin quality, and nerve function, and reduces mental fatigue, cognitive decline, inflammation, and hyperactivity (11).
Unfortunately, while it’s started being put in weight loss supplements due to claims it enhances recovery, mood, muscular contractions, motivation, and physical performance, there is no conclusive evidence to support any of these.
Green Coffee – 100 mg
Green coffee extract comes from unroasted coffee beans and is put in fat burners as it boasts caffeine, chlorogenic acid, and an antioxidant called a catechin.
Caffeine boosts your energy levels and metabolism while preventing fatigue, and catechins keep you healthy and prevent injury. Both are present in small amounts in green coffee though.
Chlorogenic acid may be beneficial in fat burners as studies suggest it’s a metabolism booster that also regulates blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Unfortunately none of these claims have been proven (12).
With just 100 mg of green coffee in a Prime Shred serving though, it won’t be of any use even if the effects are proven, as studies show at least 240 mg must be consumed each day (13).
Bioperine – 5 mg
Bioperine is a black pepper extract that’s put in fat burners to stimulate thermogenesis and enhance your natural fat burning, while increasing the bioavailability of all the other ingredients in the weight loss supplement, making them easier to absorb.
The issue is that 20 mg is required for these effects to occur (14). With Prime Shred containing just 5 mg per serving, it’s unlikely to have any effect.
Vitamin B Complex
The Prime Shred contains 15 mg of vitamin b3, 1.3 mg of vitamin b6, and 24 mcg of vitamin b12.
Vitamin B3 boosts skin, health, and brain functions, reduces inflammation, and lowers cholesterol. Vitamin B6 metabolises amino acids and aids neurotransmitter and protein synthesis. Vitamin B12 controls nutrient metabolism and produces blood cells, bone marrow, and nerve sheaths.
Prime Shred doesn’t have enough of each to be of use though. 1 gram of vitamin b3, 1.7 mg of vitamin b6, and 1,000 mcg of vitamin b12 is required to be effective, while Prime Shred contains 15 mg, 1.3, and 24 mcg, respectively.
Did Prime Shred Help Customers Burn Fat?
Unfortunately, Prime Shred is sold only on their official website and this has no review section. This makes it impossible to know how the level of body fat loss achieved by previous customers and is a red flag in itself.

Final Thoughts On The Prime Shred Body Fat Burning Supplement
How does PrimeShred compare to other diet pills and premium fat burners? It should be clear it simply won’t help you lose weight and isn’t worth wasting money on. Not only is it highly unlikely to help you lose weight, it can also cause side effects and is greatly overpriced.
Your money is much better spent on a proven fat burner like Instant Knockout Cut. An effective weight loss supplement proven to boost fat burning while boasting a very reasonable price, it is simply far superior in every area
