Beef Protein
While beef is well-known as a source of dietary protein, beef protein powder is perhaps one of the newest forms of this type of supplement on the market. As a concentrated form of protein, beef protein powder is said to contain a host of valuable minerals, vitamins and amino acids – and could provide many of the nutritional benefits of beef without adding too many calories, cholesterol or fat to the user’s diet. As it is not derived from milk, beef protein does not contain any lactose and is often marketed to users who suffer from lactose intolerance and to those who follow paleo diets.
