Formerly known as simply “BCAA”, Essential BCAA 2:1:1 is an intra-workout product from MyProtein. It is designed to help “build and repair new muscle”.
The name of this product refers to the ingredients (branched-chain acids or BCAA) and the ratio of ingredients (leucine: isoleucine: valine). These amino acids are said to promote protein synthesis for faster recovery.
Essential BCAA 2:1:1 is gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians. Flavors include “Berry Blast”, “Bitter Lemon”, “Berry Burst”, “Cherry Blossom and Raspberry” and “Mojito”.
The product comes in resealable pouches and is available in three sizes: 250g, 500g, and 1kg.
