NOT Recommended EAS 100% whey protein..
This review will probably sound blunt but not much I can say about this stuff..

Taste 9/10
Compared to other whey protein powders the taste was about the same, the chocolate flavor reminded me of ON's Gold Standard whey, ALWAYS mixed it in with some 2% milk for the extra protein and calories..i think it tastes alot better than with water.

Effectiveness 7/10
This is where it lacked for me, I did maintain strength and I received a slight boost of energy after drinking a serving or two of it, however I didnt really make any gains while adding this to my post workout meals.

Side effects.. I dont know why but almost every time within an hour of drinking this shake I was makin trips to the bathroom, seemed like it went right through me, ive never had this problem with other whey proteins but then again this one is pretty cheap, I guess you get what you pay for

Price 10/10
Probably the best part about this supplement, this stuff is dirt cheap at Sams club.

However I want to mention that I only ran the 2 pound size tub of this because I wanted to try it out before purchasing more, but Im glad I didnt buy the 5lb tub because the restroom trips arent worth it.

I would say this protein may be good for someone new to supplements and weight lifting, but it just didnt cut it for me.

Cons:
  • Taste Good
  • Increased Energy

Nice review, yea I thought this protein was ok. Wasnt terrible, didnt have those bathroom trips. But there are much better proteins out there. Dymatize Elite is pretty cheap and its a bit better than EAS IMO. Myofusion is another one im a big fan of as well.

Recommended I have been using EAS 100% Whey for 3 months now, finished already 2 containers. Its alot easier to belnd than other protein powders. Helped helped to build strength and some size. It does not contain high calories so it helped me as well to lose some extra weight. I take 1 pint of milk with two scoopsin the morning, Immediately after workout , and before bedtime.
Highly recommended

Recommended EAS was good when bill ran it i believe theres a reason why this product is cheap you get what you pay for . IF your poor boying it for awhile this product is good in a pinch. I believe they dumping a ton of preservatives to keep good on wallmart and sams shelves and they are probably dumping collagen protein in there product.

Recommended This is my first review so bear with me. I started using EAS about 10 months ago. I weighted 215 and I began P90x. SInce that time I have dropped down to 175 and less than 10% body fat. Through the whole Course I took this product so I will try to break it down the best I can.

Value (10/10): I give this a 10 because I have not found anything better for the price. I get it from BJ's at around $25-30 for a 5 lb. bag. I think the value for the quality is really up there.

Taste (8/10): The taste is pretty good. Nothing to brag about but it is not horrible. Knowing that some proteins can taste pretty bad this did not. I did look forward to taking it after my workout, but it is not delicious. Still a pretty good taste.

Effectiveness (8/10): I give this an 8 for several reasons. One I have not tried any other product to compare it too. Also since doing p90x I dropped a ton of weight. It did help me maintain a lot of my muscle. Then once I started trying to add a little muscle on it did an ok job. Nothing too spectacular or great. I would chalk most of my gain up to my diet because I keep a High Protein Diet. I haven't add much muscle but I am also not bulking

Ingredients (N/A): I do not give this a grade because I am too beginner to begin to explain things. I can say that it is mostly Whey concentrate which is any where from 29-89% protein by weight. It only have about a 1.5 grams of fat and a couple grams of carbs in it. In total it delivers 23 grams of protein per scoop for 130 calories. Not to bad. It also has BCAA's which is a plus.

Overall (8/10): Once again I give this an 8 because I believe I am too naive to give any higher of a grade. This protein works well and I would recommend it to others. I saw some gains, not much, but that is probably do to my diet and my goals of working out.

I just started a tub of Gold Standard and I am liking it so far, good taste, mixability and ingredients.

Recommended Good protein had all the usual effects, price was very good $28 bucks at sams club for a bag of 76 portions. Taste was good however irrelevant. I have built alot of muscle during the first bag of this stuff gaining about 8 lbs of muscle while losing 6 percent body fat. Will be purchasing another bag of this stuff tomorrow.

Recommended ive tried lots of protiens from GNC brand and ON whey to Body Fortress and i was low on cash and they had this at sams for 27 bucks so used my dads sams card to get me a 5 pound bag of the chocolate flavor

effectiveness:
i take one scoop in the morning with skim milk and one scoop post workout with water and bcaas and sometimes midday with water or milk
in the past month of using it my incline bench has went from 155 to 185 for 5 reps and my deadlift has went from 225 to 255 for three reps
dont try to go heavy on squates cause my knees aint the best, more reps for them
ive been using this during my cut while on the ECA Stack and have not lost any muscle, and as stated above my strengh has went up and can see alot more definition

recovery:
i lift four days a week and cardio five or six days a week and when after just one day off i go back to the gym and feel stronger and less sore then when i used some other wheys

mixability is great to me, i use one scoop and one scoop of the GNC BCAA and put it in a cup with a lid and shake the hell out of it and it mixes fine, no clumping at all

taste is another story, when i first started using it it tasted like crap
i had to force myself to drink it but the last couple of weeks of it ive gotten used to it and it aint that bad at all now
dont know about the vanilla flavor

cost:
this is the best thing about it, while ON or dynamize 5 pound bags are like 40 dollars you can get this at sams for 27
it may not be as good a quality but its worth the price

overall i think this is a good quality product and well worth it if you are on a budget but still needing quality supplements

Pros:
Cons:
  • Recovery
  • Good Value
  • Builds Muscle
  • Increased Strength
  • Not A Great Taste

Recommended I've tried alot of the cheaper protein supps.Ive gotten everything I saw for a good deal. This does about the same as most protein shakes I try.Im actually less sore with this kind that most,I take it before and after workouts. But the thing I like the most about it is the taste,I hear there is others that taste better, but I have yet to taste them, maybe its just a personal choice, but for the price its good.

Maybe Recommended This is just a pretty average protein. Took this Back during my 8th grade year and it was my first protein powder. This is great for beginners and can be found at sams for pretty cheap. Advanced lifters will probably be not satisfied with this. If you are begining dont think twice just go and buy it and see how you like supplementing protein. Also, if you get it, know it is almost manditory after you workout. For the veterans I would recomend MyoFusion or ON whey(also I here Dymatize is pretty good quality although I have never tried it). It would be nice if someone would reply on thier views on ON whey vs Dymatize whey that would be great. thanks for reading and hope this helped

Recommended I was able to buy this at Sam's Club for les 45 dollars which is a great deal for a 6 pound bag of protein. It tastes pretty good for a protein shake, I've only tried the chocolate though. A scoop is 23 grams of protein that have Caseins and Whey so its great for Pre/Post workout and before you go to bed. I've definitely built some muscle using this product and I highly recommend it if you're just looking for a cheap and effective protein powder.
