Today we’re looking at Force Factor supplements take on Tongkat Ali, and right of the bat we’re gonna say we do not recommend this product. It’s a decent product all around, but there’s simply better out there. Instead we recommend Prime Male’s recent tongkat ali supplement, which has a more bioavailable and potent extract overall.

Force Factor Background
Force Factor are a relatively well known brand in the dietary supplements market, and whilst there’s many different dietary supplements on offer, their brand mainly focuses on male health supplements.
That said they delve into general wellness supplements too with supplements such as apple cider vinegar gummies and greens powders.
Overall they’re generally moderately well received, and have a decent brand reputation
Force Factor Ingredients
The formula here is decent, with a good addition to help with bioavailability, but they could have just used a better extract in the first place, which would have resulted in a stronger supplement overall.
Ingredients in Detail
Selenium – 50mcg
This essential mineral is is often obtained dietarily, but can be supplemented to prevent deficiency if needs be.
It mainly functions to help keep your thyroid running smoothly, which can have positive effects on the hormonal balance of the body.
A lot of the data has been conducted to see if selenium supplements can improve testosterone levels, but the data is so far promising but inconclusive [1].
Longjack tongkat ali (eurycoma longifolia) extract (root) – 500mg
This traditional herbal medicine has been used for years by various cultures in southeast asia to support different health goals, including reducing fevers, erectile dysfunction, and stress relief.
There’s been a lot of study recently to see if these effects can be regulated, and things are looking very promising, with it being found to be effective at reducing cortisol levels by 16% when taken daily at just 200mg [2].
It’s also been found to improve serum testosterone with doses between 100 and 600mg per day [3], showing that force factor has a good dosing here.
What’s missing however is standardisation, as there’s a primary biochemical called eurycomanone that is responsible for it’s numerous health benefits, so without the extract being standardised it could be lacking in this important aspect.
Bioperine black pepper fruit extract – 5mg
Biperine is a great ingredient that we love to see, as it’s able to improve absorption and performance of nutrients. This helps to make sure you absorb as much of the good stuff as your body can, in a completely safe and clinically proven way [4].
Customer Reviews
The customer reviews here show off how force factor have put together a great supplement here that could have just been a bit better.
On Amazon they have 4.2 out of 5, and whilst we’d normally be skeptical of really high review scores we know this supplement is effective so it makes sense the reviews would reflect that. In terms of complaints people are either saying the supplement had no noticeable effects or that their items weren’t received after purchasing.
On Reddit, there’s less of a consensus, but the majority of people have good things to say. Here the majority of negative feedback is “I tried it but it wasn’t as good as…” which adds up to our experiences here. There’s still a lot of people praising the product however, a testament to their well designed formula.
Does Force Factor Work?
Force Factor does work, it gets almost everything right. At the beginning when we said we don’t recommend it, it’s simply because Prime Male is better, rather than force factor making some sort of unrecoverable blunder.
The selenium isn’t the best choice, and the piperine is welcome but a little unnecessary when they could have simply used a better extract for an even better bioavailability and more potent effects overall.
Force Factor Side Effects: Is it Safe?
Force Factor Tongkat Ali is a very safe supplement, with no recorded adverse effects of the given ingredients at the given doses.
Force Factor Conclusion
Whilst force factor have provided a good supplement for improving male vitality, you can find similar priced alternatives that provide a more potent natural compound that has all the reported benefits of premium force factor supplements and more.
This is why we instead recommend Prime Male’s tongkat ali supplement, as it can boost energy, improve testosterone levels and reduce stress in a much more impactful way.
