Big shoutout to Destine Nutrition for letting me give Testo Prime a shot. I had been looking for a test booster to try and when I saw this I thought I'd give it a shot. I had been doing a lot more cardio and not lifting as much as I had in previous months/years. Now that the summer is around the corner I wanted to try something that might give me some added muscle/strength. I rearranged the diet to intake more calories and stocked up on supps to help me in the journey.

    Ingredient Profile

First thing I always notice in a product is whether or not it has a fully disclosed label or a prop blend. If it has a prop blend I tend to shy away from it. Only because I don't know how much of each is in it. Testo Prime has a fully disclosed label. That gets added points for me in the profile section. When I saw it and noticed that it had 3g's of DAA (D-Aspartic Acid) in it I was happy to see that. My favorite test booster of all time is DPOL by Purus Labs. It has roughly the same amount of DAA in it that Testo Prime does. I don't care much for Tribulus. It's pretty much the same thing as an added filler to me. I've never known a "real person" that had strength or size gains due to Tribulus alone. Therefore, I don't see why any company uses this ingredient anymore. I had to look up the ingredients DIM (diindolymethane), and Boron Citrate because I had no idea what either was supposed to do.

According to the web DIM is a compound derived from the digestion of indole-3-carbinol, found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage and kale. Although diindolylmethane supplements are sometimes touted as natural weight loss aids, there's no scientific evidence to support the claim that taking diindolylmethane promotes weight loss. Due to a lack of scientific support, it's too soon to recommend diindolylmethane supplements as a standard treatment for any health condition. With the research I did I cannot see why DIM was added to this product.

Boron Citrate- Boron is a mineral that is found in food and the environment. Boron is a chemical element with symbol B that is found in food and the environment and is taken as medicine. Greater fruit and vegetable consumption could significantly increase boron intakes, especially Avocado [1]. Estimated daily intake of boron ranges from 0.3-41 mg per day [2]. B may be involved in a number of clinical conditions such as arthritis, however, more research needs to be done before B is accepted as an essential nutrient for humans. Dietary boron influences the activity of many metabolic enzymes, as well as the metabolism of steroid hormones and several micronutrients, including calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D. In the bodybuilding world various forms of boron are emerging as testosterone boosters. When I started researching this product I thought "Why is this ingredient in this." The more research I did I can see why. If it does what they claim it does above then it needs to be in there.

    Taste/Mixability/Dosing

Taste- It didn't have much of a taste because they were pills.

Mixability- I didn't mix it with anything.

Dosing- I took 4 pills before I went to bed each night.

***Warning*** They are pretty good sized pills. I had to drink a full 8oz glass of water to get all four down.

    Effectiveness

Week one I wasn't expecting anything. Week 2 came and went and still nothing. Week 3 was still the same until the end of the week. I noticed some increase in strength, but nothing to write home about. Bench, Squat, and Deadlift went up a few lbs. Week 4 didn't seem to do much more either. All in all, I was surprised by the lack of strength gains because it has the DAA in it. Usually that alone will get you some strength gains in your first 4 weeks. It claims a boost in strength, performance, and size. I didn't notice anything different during the four weeks I took it. 8 weeks might have been the key with this supplement though. That's why I gave it a 6 overall. It's somewhere right in the middle of test boosters I've tried.

    Value

$59.99 is just to much for me in the cost department. I'm not sure I could ever spend that much money on a product that I wasn't sure if it would work. Especially when there was something else out there that I know would works great for me that is cheaper. The cost/availability is a big negative to me.

    Side Effects

Thankful I didn't notice any side effects.

    Conclusion

In conclusion, Testo Prime just wasn't the test booster I was looking for. I don't want to bash any product. It could be better for someone else. It just wasn't for me. The price is to high, the ingredient label seems to be filled with ingredients that, either don't work, or are unproven. I wished it had done more for me. In the end, I still thank Destine Nutrition for the opportunity to try this product. You and sr.com teaming up to give us this shot was awesome. I appreciate it.

    Introduction

Giving a shout out to Destine Nutrition for letting me give their testosterone booster a chance. This has natural ingredients for a testosterone booster. I've tried a few and at 39 years old I need a bit of a testosterone boost so this was something I usually try.

    Ingredient Profile

Testoprime contains healthy vitamins and minerals that should increase testosterone naturally and found in most testosterone boosters. These are Vitamin D3 and B-6, Magnesium, and Zinc. The core ingredients are D-Aspartic Acid, Tribulus Terrestris, Fenugreek Seed, Diindolylmethane (DIM), and Boron Citrate. I have tried a lot of testosterone boosters and some of these ingredients are found in several other boosters. Tribulus Terrestris, Fenugreek Seed, and Boron Citrate are the core ingredients in the other testosterone boosters, so I will do a brief summary on these three and talk about the two ingredients found in other boosters, but I would not consider them part of the "core". Tribulus terrestris is to help with the sexual drive. Fenugreek seed (also called testosurge fenugreek) has evidence to increase testosterone and weight loss. Boron Citrate can increase testosterone with doses higher than found in food. The two ingredients I have found in other booster, but not as much as the "core" are the D-Aspartic Acid and Diindolylmethane (DIM). D-Aspartic Acid is like other amino acids that work with protein. Studies have shown this an effective testosterone booster and it can help in muscle growth and fat loss. Diindolylmethane comes from vegetables like kale and broccoli, which we all know that vegetables are healthy. Research has shown that broccoli and kale can help prostate.

Like I said earlier, these items are in other boosters so there is nothing good or bad about these ingredients. Every booster out there has some or all these ingredients, it's just that companies will change which ingredients to put in and how much of each ingredient. The ingredients are fine but not great either. I give this a middle ranking.

    Taste/Mixability/Dosing

This was in pill form where you get 120 tablets and you take 4 per day 30-60 minutes before bedtime. The tablets are about the size of a multi vitamin but a bit bigger and it looks like a natural vitamin. This is one of the 1st testosterone boosters I have tried that says to take it at night. The taste and mixability don't apply here due to it being in pill tablet form. The dosing is pretty similar to other testosterone boosters as the pills are a little large and you take 4. I will give this a middle ranking because it's nothing that's higher or lower than most boosters out there.

    Effectiveness

The Testoprime says it will increase strength, performance and boost testosterone. It's hard to measure a testosterone booster, especially with those claims. Unless you're getting lab work done once a month then you never really know if your testosterone is increasing or decreasing. As far as it goes with this product and the way it made me feel, I can't say that it was a positive or negative. It felt just kind of in the middle. I felt like it was something that you would normally get from a good multi vitamin. There was not a boost in energy but just in the middle feeling for strength, performance, and higher testosterone. I'm gonna give this a middle ranking because I don't know if it was good, bad or just me.

    Value

The Destine Nutrition has this product from $60 to $80 (depending on if there is a sale or not) and I was not able to find it anywhere else (checked amazon and bodybuilding). If you get it on sale for $60, you get a one-month supply. This works out to $2 per day. This is to expensive for me. I have found other boosters out there that contain some same ingredients for around $30 for a 1-month supply. I will give this a low rating.

    Side Effects

    No side effects noticed

    Conclusion

I'm gonna give this a middle ranking. The ingredients are pretty similar to other products out there with a change. The dosing is the same as most. The effectiveness is in the middle as well because I don't know if it really helped or not. It's a good product because it does have good ingredients but you can find them in most testosterone boosters. I would not say there was anything that was overwhelmingly good or bad. The cost is too high for me. It may be worth a try for some others out there as everybody's different but, for me it was a middle testosterone booster.

     Pros:
     Cons:
    • Increased Strength
    • Increased Libido
    • Too Expensive
    • Acne

    Introduction

Whats up SR, I wanted to drop my review of Testo Prime by the brand Destine Nutrition who have been dropping some serious products lately. I chose to review this product as I was running a strength/ Hypertrophy based program and trying to see how much size and strength I could put on before the winter ends. Shout out to the Trooper Program and Destine for sending this out to me!

    Ingredient Profile

The first thing I noticed was the fully disclosed profile, always a good sign in my books. Now lets take a look at whats in it:

    Vitamin D3 - 1000IU
    Vitamin B-6 - 11mg
    Magnesium - 160mg
    Zinc - 30mg

    D-Aspartic Acid - 3g (clinical dosage)
    Tribulus Terrestris - 750mg
    Fenugreek Seed Extract - 500mg
    DIM (Diindolylmethane) - 200mg
    Boron Citrate - 100mg

Okay so right away we can see that this is a pretty simple, but VERY well dosed test booster. We have at and above clinical dosages for both test boosting ingredients as well as estrogen blockers as well as a full dose of ZMA.

    Taste/Mixability/Dosing

This product is a pill form product, so the taste is not a factor. The pills are relatively large in size, but they are coated in such a way that they weren't super difficult to swallow. Dosing is 4 pills 30-60 minutes before bed time (due to the ZMA).

    Effectiveness

Alright, so now lets take a look at the most important part, is this effective?

The answer is simply yes. As with many other test boosting products the effects do take some time before they become noticeable, I would say for me it was near the end of the second week when I really felt this kick in. The main areas I found this benefited me were strength and libido. My strength definitely improved while running Testo Prime, I was able to add weight to many of my lifts over the one month period, I also just felt stronger and more aggressive in the gym (luckily not outside the gym). Its a very nice feeling to have. My libido saw an increase as well, from morning wood to overall sex drive I noticed this very much towards the end of the bottle. As for muscle growth I did gain some muscle while on Testo Prime, but I honestly cant attribute that to just this product as my diet and training were great during the month.

As with many test booster I feel this could have been more beneficial to run this product for 12 weeks before cycling off, I am very curious at to my results if this was taken over a longer term. I also wish I had taken the time to do blood work to see if there were any really notable increases in my actual testosterone levels.

    Value

Value is where this product takes the hit unfortunately, it comes in at $60 for 30 servings, giving it a value of $2 per serving (or day) that is pretty pricey for a month supply of a supplement. But as with most things you get what you pay for, if you have the extra money its worth the shot.

    Side Effects

Acne on my back and shoulders started up around the 2nd week and stayed right through until the end, thats a good sign in my mind however, but still something to note. Increases in aggression may be an issue for some, but was not for me.

    Conclusion

If you can afford the higher price point and want a clinically dosed test booster with no b.s fillers or prop blends, then give Testo Prime a shot. Users can expect increases in strength and libido and perhaps even more benefits if taken over a longer period of time. I am a young guy (23) so I can only imagine what this could do for someone who is older. Overall a very complete and well dosed product, great job Destine Nutrition.
