What Is It?
L-Alanyl L-Glutamine (a.k.a. Sustamine) is a combination of the two amino acids L-Glutamine and L-Alanine. Thisdipeptide ingredient combines the amino acids L-Alanine and L-Glutamine to helps the body rehydrate, replenish and recover from high intensity exercise.
Alanine is classified as a non-essential amino acids, while glutamine is considered "conditionally" essential.
Sustamine's unique bonded structure allow it to be rapidly absorbed by the body, meaning the amino acids get to the muscles faster.
What Does Sustamine Do?
Sustamine enhances water and electrolyte absorption in the intestines. It also stimulates glycogen synthesis, inhibits muscle protein breakdown and supports muscle protein synthesis.
