Tom - Nice post and one that I personally thought was needed.

I have a question regarding the curse sensor. I know many forums that I've been a part of in the past have had optional curse sensors enabled to allow members to either read curses or not. Would this ever be a possibility? I know personally I could care less about language, and if people were simply allowed to type it out, you wouldn't have anyone circumventing the sensor. Just a thought.

The forum software simply doesn't have the ability to allow users to turn their censor on or off.  I also don't mind seeing the language personally; I'd just like to avoid offending the rest of the visitors on the site.

Would it be possible to include starting poles with no pole question? It's not a huge deal, just a little annoying.

Yeah.  I don't understand why people start polls instead of clicking any of the numerous huge "New Thread" buttons.  I'll be handing out warnings for annoying stuff like that.

I love how this web site will give you waqrnings for the dumest stuff. I just got one for not being specific with what I was writing about. Why dont they leave us alone. Everybody that replied had no problem and understood what I wanted but good old admin had a proplem with it. I should be able to make the subject what I want makes me not even want to post anything or ill get another warning.

Typically, doing anything that makes the moderators' lives harder will result in a warning.
  • Starting threads in the wrong forums. (Example: sking about Jersey Shore in the Supplement Journals forum)
  • Posting a general question under a specific product.

We strive to keep the forum highly organized so that visitors can easily find all our work, and our helpful members aren't answering the same questions over and over again.

man don't complain, he's being reasonable in what he expects from his site and it's not hard to just follow the rules. A small effort makes a huge difference to both the moderators and visitors to the site

Its actually very true.  Tough love.  We have thousands of members, so we aren't too upset to scare off a few that don't want to follow the rules.

bb.com will always welcome you.

I bought something that has 500 servings. Do you really think that I would finish that anytime in a 2yr span. So before I finish it I can't talk about it on the site!!!???
