Iím still fat but Iíve dropped 25-30#ís depending on the day.

Working like crazy and my lifts are still weak.  Benching more weight than I squat, lol.

Flying to LA in June for a concert we have to meet up.

DL: 6x435x1 (3 conventional, 3 sumo)

I'm out of shape.

Since moving out to Long Beach I completely opened up my morning availability, which in turn has curtailed my time to train. It's a growing & learning process, but it's a good one. It means I'm busy & ergo making money. I need that right now. However, all I have time for is upper body workouts like I did Wednesday. I need about 45 minutes to just stretch and & get warmed up enough to where I can squat or deadlift to an acceptable level. So, I just need to plan out my days better. But, as I said, it's a good problem to have.

In 2016, the fastest time Joe De Franco has recorded was Triple H at 4min 50sec. I did that mother fooer in 4min 18sec. I AM THE MOTHER fooING GAME.

Then I slowly died. My chest was maxed out and my arms couldn't handle much more. I sold out on the bench challenge, determined to get something under 4 minutes. Truth be told, I think I could have. BUT, i'll save that for another day.

3x245x6 (paused 1" off the chest)

Super stoked to double 340.  That poo all but stapled me the bench in Oregon almost a year ago, but not on this day. Did something stupid one my first set w/245, & my left trap hated every second of it. Made sure to lock my shoulder blades down, & it wasn't an issue.

Closed out with a bunch of dumb tricep exercises. Dumb in that they kicked my ass.

Back and Legs

A footon on leg press, some leg curls, leg extensions, & a completely reclined yes/no machine.
Back was a footon of pulldown exercises and one or two rows.


One of those workouts where we picked tow to three exercises and just went ham on them. No real direction, just two bros shooting the poo & getting a pump

Arms

Another one of those workouts that just flowed from one exercise to next, don't really remember what exactly we did. It was just three meatheads making our way through a gym, trying to catch a pump. The burritos afterwards were gnarly as foo, though. And the beer.

Did realize I go HAM on triceps, but don't bring that same intensity to biceps. Just can't or won't, don't know. Gonna start training them as often as I train triceps.

Been surprisingly swamped at work, which I'll take over having nothing to do. More work means more pay...most times.

Highlights of the last six days are two squat days that felt amazing, & some mystery knee discomfort. I went snow tubing Sunday & ate like poo all weekend, so I'm hoping the answer to my woes is somewhere there. If not, there's some unraveling that needs to be done.

In other news, "meet season" is about to start for us here at the gym. I have one guy competing next weekend in the drug tested state meet, then practically the whole team competing in May. It's great, because for once literally everyone is training for the same meet.

3x275x6 (index on ring, pinky on ring, close-grip)
Smooth, but not as fast as I would like. Still, grabbed all 18 reps.

Did some weird crossfit thing for the down-sets. Super light, nothing special.

Flat DB Press:
100x18
70x21
45x40
Gym doesn't have any 40lb DBs, so we nut up and grab 45s. Chest was fine, but my triceps bailed on me.

DB Flies x15-20
Avg Band Face Pulls x40
*3 Sets
Stupid, is what this was.

More retardation. FML.

Band Triceps Pushdowns: 4x50
Minis doubled over the top of the squat rack, straight bar attachment. All three heads of the triceps are currently pumped the foo up. Like, to the point where my hands went a smidge numb. Glorious.

The week thus far. Good poo all around, loving 5%'s Kill It: Reloaded preworkout. Their 5150 is awesome, but 505mg of total caffeine gets to you. Phenomenal pumps with Kill It: Reloaded, too.
