Bulking With LGD & Friends « : September 13, 2018, 11:32:20 AM »
Hey SR,

If you followed my last log you know that I just finished a lengthy cut that had a few setbacks along the way. You'd also know that I was planning on a clean(ish) bulk and considered using LGD-4033 in the process. I figured I'd document my journey on this semi-enhanced gains train as well. I'll cover the 8 week SARM cycle along with the PCT in this log. I'll detail my supplement list below (there's a lot of ancillaries for the LGD, some staples, and some single ingredients I've used to make my own nutrient partitioning agent) but any inconsistent supplements (i.e. TROOPs products) will be mentioned in the daily posts. I also follow a PPL program that I try to run at 6 on 1 off but realistically find myself doing 3 on 1 off. Additionally, I will be hitting abs every other day and doing cardio 3-5 a week for general health maintenance.

SARM:
LGD-4033 2.5mg (ED)

Day 1 - September 12 - Wednesday

Training: Starting off the cycle with a fresh start on the program so that means Light Pull Day today. Felt a little tired going in because it was a long day but once I was in there, I had a great workout. Added in a little extra volume here and there because I got in such a great mood as I was lifting. I also hit abs.

Calories: 2,300. Protein: 160g Carbohydrate: 280g Fat: 65g. Still working up to 3,000 calories. Had to do a little guesswork on dinner but this was probably close to it. I'll be shooting for 2,500 by the weekend.

Day 2 - September 13 - Thursday

Training: Light Pull Day was a blast. I know its definitely placebo but man I really felt good. Destroyed the weights.

Supplementation: I know it has to be placebo as well but man my balls were aching so bad for the last 12 hours of the day. Very dull ache that just screwed with my mind once I noticed it.

Calories: 2,800 Protein: 220g Carbohydrate: 280g Fat: 90g. Regret chowing down on some greasy subs at work but they were free and I'm a sucker for free food. Estimating the macros on that but I can't imagine I'm off on calories by more than 200 max.

If you can't explain it using simple words, you don't understand it well enough.

Day 4 - Saturday - September 15

Training: Hit that leg day with some abs. Didnít really go for any PRs but made some modest improvements on a few lifts. Was lifting with my ex so it was a bit hard to get in the zone. Still made it through courtesy of Metallica though (the AJFA album is pure weight crushing material, try to convince me Iím wrong).

Supplementation: MTS whey may be one of the tastiest proteins on the market. Just got to admit it. Wish Lobliner would put out a cereal and cereal milk flavor.

Calories: 2,700 Protein: 195g Carbohydrate: 230g Fat: 80g

You think?

As far as taste goes, yes. Bars have 5 ingredients, taste amazing, and donít include any garbage fiber like Quest has.

The only thing that may hinder it will be the macros, as there will probably be quite a bit of fat due to the peanut butter. Iím telling you though, the bars are awesome, and give Animal a run for their money.

Honestly I canít remember the last bar I really fell in love with. Quest are always decent compared to some unknowns but I havenít found one Iíve been blown away by in awhile - probably since Quest first hit the market. Maybe I will give these a try. Marc usually nails flavoring.

Quest is no longer the king. Knowing what I know about the fiber in Quest bars now, Iíd say they are actual garbage.
