5-8-12 Tuesday

D-pol and EP in the morning with Multi

Went to work for 8 hrs and came home made dinner for my wife , chilled for an hour and hit the weights.  Feeling serious doms in my shoulders from Saturdays workout.

Chest, Delts, Traps

Flat Bench

5 reps each up to 205#

2 sets 5 reps 225#
5 x 245#
3 x 255#
2 x 275#
3 x 275#
My triceps were on fire from close grips yesterday. My first set of 275 felt weak so I hit it hard and the second set.

The light bulb went off in my head when I was on my 3rd working set.  My new bench sits about an inch taller than my old bench.  Iíve been lifting bare foot for the last 3 weeks and so that is about 2 full inches higher than Iím used to.  Iíve been frustrated about my bench until I realized that I might as well have my feet in the air while benching cause Iím not driving with my legs at all Ė they barely touch the ground.  Next week Iím going to start wearing shoes and see If it makes a difference.

Seated Military press
3x10x95# 30 seconds rest between sets
I was spent after this no rest kicks my butt.

Bent over rear delt flys
20reps x 20#
20 x 25#
12 x 30#
1 minute between sets

Barbell shrugs
25 x 135#
20 x 185#
20 x 225#
8 x 245#

Whey with skim milk post workout

Felt great with all of this Ė solid pump in my arms my chest feels underworked but Iím focusing on my arms for the next 4 weeks and then back to heavy weight and low reps on everything.

My arms feel like they are going to blow up.  Working in arms 3 times this week with all of my normal lifts is going to be a challenge.  The d-pol and Erase pro are in full swing right now and I'm loving it so far.  My joints are a little stiff but not as bad as the old erase.  D-pol isn't effecting me as harshly as the straight daa either.
I'm excited about the results I'm seeing and I'm just half way thru the program.

I wish I could of done legs today but Iím sticking to the program.  Tomorrow is an off day followed by arms again on Friday and squat & deads on Saturday.

This weekend we have mothers day so Iíll be pulling 4 -15 hour shifts back to back to get ready.

Next week we have our fight night. 2 mma bouts and 3 boxing matches including the junior wbo heavy weight championship, Both guys are undefeated so it will be awesome.
Iíll be serving 1200 men for dinner before and during the fights.  They are bringing in about 50 escorts to entertain the guys.  I wish I could bottle the amount of testosterone that is in the air that night.

5-11-12 Friday

1st off thanks to everyone following.
I'm seeing some nice results from my stack right now, this is my last week of d-pol and I like it so much more than regular DAA.  I've now used 3 different brands of daa and D-pol has beat all of them.

Yesterday was an off day, I felt good to go after 3 hard workouts but I rested anyway.

As soon as I woke up
D-pol, multi and erase pro with whey shake

I had a simple quick arm workout today.

Two supersets of 5 sets each just to keep me pumped for the weekend.

Superset 1
Camber Barbell curls
65#, 85#, 95#, 100#, 100#  --- 10,10,8,7,6 reps

 Lying cable extensions (straight bar)
40#,50,60,70,80 --- 10 reps on all sets

Superset 2
Single hand High cable curl
40# - 5x10 fast reps

Single hand press down
40# - 5x10 fast reps

In and out in 35 minutes and off to work , I feel pumped up but under worked.
Tomorrow is legs with dead lifts.

I just got a $500 tip from party I did the other day.  My wife is out of town for the next 4 days so Iím debating on what I should do with the money.  I want to buy a trap bar and some more dumbbells for my gym.
It's boring but it's better than what my sous chef said I should do.
He said get a hooker and a 5th of tequilla.  I think I'll stick with the weights.

5-12-12 Saturday

Slept in today, I really need to get in some extra sleep.  This has been a crazy week so far and next week is going to be even busier.

Took d-pol, EP and vitamin with a whey shake

Had a buddy stop over for a unexpected visit so that took an hour out of my workout
Was planning on doing legs and deadlifts today all I got to was squats

Squats

Working
225x5
255x5
275x5
285x5
290x3 with belt (every plate in my gym)
290x3 no belt
285x6
275x8
225x10

Front squats

135x10 Ass to the grass

Thatís it

I feel better than I have in a long time.  Iím almost done with the d-pol and I will buy this stuff again and again.

I bought some new dumbbells last night, bowflex 90# adjustable with a stand.  Cost me about $750 for everything including 3 day shipping.  Iím sure I could have found a better deal but I wanted to get new ones and not used.  I still need to get another set of 45ís & 10ís, a trap bar and a dip station and I think my gym will be pretty much set.  It feels so good not to have to wait behind somebody doing curls in my squat rack.

Try looking into those power block DBs. When I went tot he IHRSA trade show earlier this year, they had all their products out & they had quite a bit of a selection. They have a 175lb set, but that one will cost you lol.

Wednesday 5-16-12

I couldnít sleep last night; have a ton of work stuff going on right now.

Tomorrow we are having our fight night and anytime you have a huge hi-profile event, it gets a little stressful.  One mistake from any of my staff could kill hundreds of people.  One mistake from me and weíll look bad and they will get a new chef by next weekend.  Itís a lot on my plate right now, nothing I havenít done a hundred times before but itís always a challenge.

Last day of D-pol Ė just have 1 pill left and quite a bit of powder in the bottom of the container.
Ate a bowl of granola for breakfast

Used jacked as my pre- workout

Back and arms

Lat pull downs
130# x 18
140# x 15
160# x 10
160# x 10

Superset
Seated low cable row and under grip pull downs
140# 18/18
160# 18/18
180# 15/15
180# 10/12

Croc rows
70 x 15 each arm
80 x 12
80 x 12

Rack pulls
1st time ever doing these and I notice I use my back a lot more with this than pulling from the ground where I use my legs more.  It felt great on my low back and I felt power full.

225# x 10
255# x 8
275# x 6

Arms
Concentration curls
25# x 10
35# x 10
45# x 8

Standing cable curls Ė 30-45 seconds rest between sets
60# x 10
70# x 10
80# x 10

Cable preacher curls
3 x 50 x 10

Standing single arm cable triceps extensions
3x40#x10

Rope press downs
60# x 10
70# x 10

Bench dips
25, 15
