Big Noise

(6 customer reviews)

About

Described as a “pump formula”, BIG NOISE is made by Redcon1. It is designed as a stimulant-free alternative to the brand’s Total War pre-workout.

By using vasodilating ingredients and ignoring stimulants, Redcon1 says BIG NOISE still gives users satisfying muscle pumps without keeping them awake – which the brand says is useful if the user wants to work out late and doesn’t want to stay up too late at night.

The product contains eight ingredients. Among these, agmatine sulfate is said to promote muscle pumps, while CDP-choline is a nootropic promoted for its ability to increase the attention span.

Big Noise can deliver some big boosts if stacked right
—-Quick Summary—-
Big Noise can be used as a standalone stimulant free pre workout, but where it really shines is when it is stacked with a stimulant based pre workouts so it can help deliver some sizeable pumps and vascularity increases.

—-Quick Summary—-
Big Noise from Redcon1 is a pre-workout pump formula that is optimized for use in tandem with their stimulant pre-workout offering, Total War.
—-Introduction—-

—-Ingredient Profile—-
For: Glycerol Monosterate – 3g For: Betaine Anhydrous – 2.5g For: Astragalus Membranaceus Root – 1g For: Agmatine Sulfate – 1g For: L-AlphaGPC – 300mg For: CDP Choline – 250mg For: Rhodiola – 200mg For: Huperzine A – 200mcg
—-Taste/Mixability/Dosing—-
I tried the Sour Gummy flavor, which tasted much better than its Total War counterpart and luckily was the dominant flavor when I mixed the two. The mixability isn’t perfect but I had no problem with clumping and had no issue getting all of the product down the hatch. I would take this 30-45 mins prior to working out either by itself or with Total War, depending on time of day and other caffeine related factors.
—-Effectiveness—-
I was very pleased with the efficacy of Big Noise. The promise of pumps and focus were fulfilled in spades, my arms felt unbelievably thick after just two rounds (a round for me is typically a set of 3-4 different exercises for 10-12 reps each).
—-Value—-
MSRP for Big Noise is $39.99, which isn’t unreasonable but a bit more than I would want to pay for a dedicated pump supplement. Luckily this is a Redcon1 product, which means there are discount codes offered ALL the time. You can expect to pay between $20-$30 for this, which puts it at or below $1/serving.
—-Side Effects—-
No adverse side effects for me.
—-Conclusion—-
Big Noise proved a useful complement to Total War for me. Even on its own

—-Quick Summary—-
Big Noise the preworkout pump formula without caffeine from Redcon1. This beauty can be stacked with any stimulant preworkout supplement specially designed to be stacked with Total War.
—-Introduction—-
Hello everyone! well finally I found the time to start this review (my first one). I have a good array of Redcon1 products and I have been using big noise for a while now. This is a great opportunity to let you know the Pros and Cons of this pump formula.
—-Ingredient Profile—-
Let’s get a review of the goods. Glycerol Monosterate – 3g Betaine Anhydrous – 2.5g Astragalus Membranaceus Root – 1g Agmatine Sulfate – 1g L-Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine or L-AlphaGPC – 300mg CDP Choline – 250mg Rhodiola Rosea root extract- 200mg Huperzine A – 200mcg This is my first product to use that has Glycerol Monosterate[\b] as the pump ingredient, it’s very good dosed at 3 grams and basically what it does is utilizes water to use it as a muscle volumizer. Betaine anyhdrous[\b] – helps you for endurance, Power and muscle protein synthesis. Agmatine Sulfate[\b] – prevents the arginine break downs by inhibiting the enzyme arginase. Alpha GPC, CDP CHoline, Rhodiola Rosea and Huperzine A[\b] -are the focus formulas so we have 4 focus formulas very well dosed.

Now it’s time to talk about what our taste buds told me about flavor. right now I have finished 2 bottles Strawberry Kiwi and Tiger’s Blood Taste Strawberry kiwi 2/5 Tiger’s Blood 5/5 Mixability Really bad on this one, it doesn’t matter how much water you add or how many minutes you super shake this it will never mix well and sometimes I get the feeling that I’m wasting some product. I had also tried it as straight scoop and then drank water but it was too much coughing (not doing it again lol). Dosing I like the fact that 1 bottle gives you 30 servings and assuming that you only use it for gym days it covers almost 1.5 months which is good as I some other products gives you the 20 servs so they can have more money each month.
—-Effectiveness—-
It’s a pretty solid pump formula and for me it’s working really good, I have bought some Citrulline to mix it just to have that additional nitric oxide booster but you don’t need it. I give it a solid 9/10
—-Value—-
Redcon1 products tend to be on the pricey side but looking at the ingredients I think is worth it plus there are plenty of sites were you can get it as a BOGO which is great.
—-Side Effects—-
None that I’m aware of.
—-Conclusion—-
This product works really good the let down is how bad it mixes. if I recommended well I can say yes but to be honest you should buy it like I did when is on sale.

Big Noise
—-Quick Summary—-
Big Noise does a pretty solid job at pumps and can be stacked with just about anything if you want a stim added.
—-Introduction—-
Overall I’ve been very satisfied with RedCon1 products, this justifies that opinion. Big Noise does give a pretty decent pump and I get the “fullness” feel while taking it. The many flavors let you go with a taste you’d prefer. I had the Tigers Blood, an almost berry/coconut flavor that wasn’t too bad.
—-Ingredient Profile—-
3g of Glycerol Monostearate to help with breaking down fatty acids 2.5g of BetaineAnhydrous helps with that blood flow and increase performance 1g Agmatine Sulfate for the NO2 300mg L-alpha glycerylphosphorcholine for cognitive promoting properties and promote power output
—-Taste/Mixability/Dosing—-
I’m going with a 7/10 on taste and mixability. While I loved the flavor of Tigers Blood, I wasn’t thrilled with the taste of the beetroot, legit adds a beet flavor to it. The mixability was eh as everytime I put it in my shaker before lifts, it left some gritty residue and last sip is the grittiest. The scoops are pretty big but you get 30 servings in the container.
—-Effectiveness—-
8/10 I definitely felt a good pump in my workouts, especially in arm or leg day and had that full feeling at the end of the workouts. I do really like the stack ability in this (provided it mixes with the flavor you get) if you want some caffeine added to it.
—-Value—-
7/10 As you do get 30 servings out of it, it’s a little pricey at $40 a tub at their website. Some other websites may have it cheaper but still in the $35-40 ballpark.
—-Side Effects—-
Haven’t come across any side effects
—-Conclusion—-
Overall it’s another solid product from REDCON1, good pumps, solid flavor (I hope that beetroot flavor gets dealt with), I’d get this product again, provided there’s a good sale on it and wanted a pump matrix.

5. User

I was looking for a non-stimulant pre-workout to use after work that was more nootropic than pump based (I get on better with these ingredients). This was the best formula I cam across and I’m a big fan of the Redcon brand. Rhodiola, CDP Choline and Huperzine give a laser focus that’s in line with a moderate stim pre-workout then eases off to not interfere with sleep. Not much pump despite the glycerol but this isn’t a problem for me as I find too much pump distracting. I went for the Gummy Worm flavour, a bit of a medicine taste to it but not unpleasant, will go for the Rainbow Candy next time.

6. User

Can’t notice it
I ordered the Strawberry Kiwi, I can taste the Kiwi(good) the strawberry is pretty Fing bad. I have had better and more noticeable “feelings” taking SixStar. I have ZERO clue if the stuff I bought from Redcon1 are benefiting me. From the “Big Noise” to their “Boom Stick”. My “Beyond Raw Lit AF” gives me some kind of mental change ( headaches and occasional getters really) .. honestly I may go back to SixStar or C4 after I run out .. BUT the MRE’s from Redcon1 are delicious
