Utzy Naturals launched in March 2016. It is based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
One of the company’s co-founders is Daniel Powers – a young entrepreneur, Business Administration graduate and former Account Executive for Provident Nutraceutical.
What is Utzy Naturals’ main focus? According to an interview with Powers on Medium.com, the brand seeks to make “super-premium grade products”.
To realize this vision, the company says all its products contain superior ingredients that are backed by research and are tested for “purity, safety, and potency” by a trusted third party. In addition, all products are made in an “FDA-audited manufacturing facility” in the United States. As a result, the plant meets or exceeds current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
And what helps Utzy Naturals stand out in a saturated supplement industry? It says that instead of sourcing “inexpensive raw materials from China”, it ensures quality by using only certified US suppliers. In the aforementioned Medium.com article (from May 2018), Powers explains that the company had opened its own “herbal farm” to start growing its own raw ingredients.
To adds substance to the notion of the brand’s dedication to “excellence”, the herbs on the Utzy Naturals farm are Certified Organic. All the brand’s products are also free from gluten, corn and yeast, as well as artificial colors and flavors. And although the company does not test for the presence of dairy, peanuts and shellfish, Utzy products “tend to be free” of such allergens.
In addition, the company says that all its formulas are developed by Jeremy Johnson – a “leading botanical researcher”.
The team behind Utzy Naturals also commits itself to “truthful information”. For this reason, it says it doesn’t follow “fads” or use sensationalist-marketing tricks.
The Utzy Naturals product range includes Essentially-U (“multi-nutrients”), Fiber Food (for digestive function) and U-Mag (“relaxing, magnesium-infused drink).
