Rivalus is an Aurora based US sports supplement company, founded in 2008.
Right from the word go, Rivalus was keen to help professional and Olympic athletes achieve better performance results as well as to support up and coming athletes on their journey to become great bodybuilders and powerlifters.
This aim was guided by a desire to “make the most powerful and effective supplements available free of hazardous substances and unwanted fillers”.
In line with this, Rivalus uses no banned substances and lists every ingredient used in their products.
Later in 2013, Rivalus was acquired by Nutrivo LLC, a company owned and operated by Mike and Tony Costello, the former owners and founders of Optimum Nutrition. Despite the acquisition, the basic guiding principles remained the same.
The sports supplement company proudly states on their website that “all Rivalus products are free of banned substances” which should give both established and aspiring athletes some peace of mind.
By their own admission, Rivalus supplements are produced in the NSF International GMP Registered Manufacturing Facilities of Nutrivo.
Using top quality manufacturing facilities helps assure high levels of product quality and to meet all safety and regulatory approvals both in Canada and the US.
However, Rivalus didn’t just want to meet expectations, they wanted to go a step further and raise the bar for standards and quality beyond the legal requirements.
To be able to achieve this, Rivalus uses a third-party testing company to randomly select products from store shelves and test these to ensure the product is free of banned substances.
Their line of supplements contains pre-, intra-, and post-workout products, amino acids, creatine, protein, multivitamins, thermogenics, muscle building products as well as their own brand of workout gear.
