Founded in 1992, Olympus Labs is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Co-founders, Craig Connors and Mary Sullivan, say they started the company as a response to the lack of “quality supplements” on the market at the time.
The founders aimed to create their own formulas to help people “achieve optimal health, wellbeing, and balance”.
The Olympus Lab website says that all the brand’s products contain the “purest raw ingredients” and go through thorough testing for potency and purity. The founders also declare their policy of honesty and openness leads them to choose every ingredient and base every dose on “expert studies”.
In fact, all Olympus Labs products are made at a facility certified under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The company points to this certification as a sign that its products “meet all industry and legal standards”. In addition, all products are made in the United States and are bottled at the company’s Phoenix facility to ensure a high level of quality control.
In 2014, company CEO, David Besins, said that his aim for the future was to “offer the world’s finest supplements”.
None of the supplements in the brand’s range contain artificial sweeteners, colors, or preservatives. Meanwhile, Olympus Labs’ pill-based products use vegetarian capsules to make them accessible to wider audience.
In a video on the brand’s YouTube channel, one of its employees states that as a “premium brand”, Olympus Labs puts a greater focus on quality than rival companies. The company also declares that the ingredients in each product exactly matches those on its label.
Olympus Labs DIM is perhaps the brand’s top-selling product. This product’s main ingredient is Diindolylmethane (DIM) and it’s designed to support “a healthy balance of testosterone to estrogen ratio”.
Other products in the range include Pea Protein, Beef Protein, Caffeine, Krill Oil, and Dynamic HGH. Olympus Labs’` Biocell Collagen won Better Nutrition’s Anti-Aging Best of Supplements Award in 2013.
