About Trutein Naturals
Trutein Naturals is a blended-protein product manufactured by Body Nutrition. It is formulated to provide a “sustained release” of protein for increased muscle growth and recovery.
The product provides 24g of protein per serving. This is made up whey protein (45%), micellar casein (45%) and egg white (10%). Whey protein is thought to provide an immediate release, while casein is said to offer a slower release for extended muscle growth.
Trutein Naturals does not contain gluten or wheat, and is free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives.
It is – or has been – sold in four flavors: “Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cup”, “CinnaBun”, “Dark Chocolate” and “Vanilla Bean”.
