The TROOPs (Trusted Reviewer Open Opportunity Program) facilitates the exchange of free products for reviews.
Reviewers (also known as TROOPers) receive full products free of charge, with the only requirement being that they must post a quality, in-depth and critical review of that product when they are finished. This can take a month or more since they only receive full containers, not just sample packs.
We NEVER remove TROOPers from the program because they post a negative review. Our TROOPers post honest reviews on products regardless of whether or not they received them for free. The only time we remove TROOPers from our program is if they don’t review products they receive.
In fact, reviews of products received through the TROOPs are more critical on average than other reviews:
Average Rating for NON-TROOP Reviews:
Overall=7.90/10, Effectiveness=8.08/10, Value=7.62/10
Average Rating for TROOP Reviews:
Overall=7.42/10, Effectiveness=7.67/10, Value=6.93/10
We’ve designed the TROOPs to keep brand influence out of the reviews. Brands may not “preselect” which TROOPers receive their products. Brands don’t get to preview, edit or have any say whatsoever on the final review. We’ll never remove a negative review just because the brand complains.
Many brands refuse to send products out because they don’t want an honest and fair evaluation. They’d rather use their preselected “Test Team” to flood other review platforms with low-quality 5-star reviews. That’s why SupplementReviews.com will purchase and send products out when brands refuse to.
Who are the TROOPers?
TROOPers are regular supplement consumers like you or me. They have a proven track record on SupplementReviews.com for posting detailed, in-depth and critical reviews on supplements and have participated enough on our site to earn a spot in the TROOPs.
How can a brand get their products reviewed?
Getting reviews from the SR TROOPs is a free service that we offer to all brands. We don’t require payment of any kind to send your products out.
