6 weeks into cutting, I started to hit a plateau in my weight loss. I started dieting at 212lbs and began to stall out at 203lbs. My body fat at 203lbs was still around 13%, so I'm not doing any sort of extreme cutting. I'm not a huge proponent of diet pills, but I decided to give them a shot out of curiosity.
I count my Calories daily and come within +/-100 as far as accuracy goes. My macro breakdown doesn't vary much. I am consistent in the gym with my workout intensity and duration from week to week. So, I think that this is a fairly-well controlled study of this product's effectiveness.
After two weeks stuck at 203lbs, I began taking this product. For control purposes, I kept my Calories at 2300 (same as previous 8 weeks) and my workout intensity/duration the same. Midway into the 4th week on
Redline at full dosage, I am still at the same weight...not up or down aside from a few daily fluctuations.
So, the effect this had on my metabolism was negligible, at best. My lifts and body fat % have all stayed constant, as well.
I should note that I do have a very high tolerance for caffeine and took an average of 500mg daily prior to starting
Redline. I usually had 200mg to wake up and 300mg in a pre-WO drink. If you do not take any caffeine, this may have a more noticeable effect on your metabolism. But, if caffeine is the only effective
thermogenic in this, there's no reason to pay $30 for it.
