My friend met and is good friends with the chemist who created Unleashed Pump'd so he was able to get me a ton of these little gels at a cheap price. I have tried many NO products, from Cellulor, to straight up L-Argenine Powder, or Xpand Xtreme, and although in the beginning I did feel the pump, after weeks of use the pump subsided.
Ingredient List:
PEG 400, Isopropyl Myristate, PEG 3350, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Propoylene Glycol, Water, Phosphatidyl Serine, Phosphatidyl Choline, HPMC E5, Laureth 23, Niacinamide, Valine Ethylester Nitrate Salt, Lecithin, Polyscorbate 80, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Benzoate, Tea Tree Oil.
Application: 10/10 -Its a topical application system so you just rub the gel on the parts you want the NO to hit the hardest. Easy to use, just rip the small packet, put some gel onto your hand and rub into the body part you want to use until absorbed, arms, biceps, triceps, chest, abs, etc.... It has a small menthol like smell (ben*** type of smell), but otherwise no other side effects for me. No skin irritation, no reddening of the skin, just a warm sensation.
Pump: 7/10 - The pump was mild. Although I did feel a small pump to workout, it was nothing significant as I felt on other Argenine type of products.
Vascularity: 10/10 - This is where I noticed one of the major improvements in my workout. It helped my veins pop out a little more, and it also tightened up my skin a little bit. My body-fat currently is around 10% so of course the vascularity portion might be different for others trying this product.
Effectiveness: 9/10 - So the reason I give this a 9 out of 10 is because it felt good and (bad) at the same time. So for the good, I did notice my muscles a lot more sore the next day, and I did feel the burning sensation that you usually get when you take an exercise to failure during my workout. The bad is also that. Because my muscles were burning during the exercise (good burn, the kind where you like the pain because you have hit the muscles hard) it was hard for me initially to go heavier. But since I am in the cutting phase currently, this product worked well for me. The next day my muscles were sore as hell, I have not felt that type of soreness in a long time, but I liked it.
I noticed that this gel worked best for smaller muscle groups, when I applied to ABS, BICEPS, ARMS, TRICEPS and SHOULDERS. Although my chest and back were sore, they were not as sore as my smaller muscle groups.
Recovery: 9/10 - What's strange is although my muscles were sore the next day, the more I used this gel, the faster my muscles also healed. After a few days the pain would be gone and I would be able to hit these muscles hard again. Which is a definite plus in my opinion.
Value:7/10 There are websites online that sell this for a pack of 10 for around $25... Its not cheap, but you wouldn't use it everyday. I would use this when you want to hit the muscles harder and deeper.
Overall: 8/10 - I would definitively recommend this product for other members to try. It might not be too cheap as some of the other makeshift products on the market currently, but for that extra "umpf" in the gym I would try it out.
