
Alright broskis, I guess I will be the first to review the TRX Suspension Trainer.
I workout at the NYSC gym and I noticed that in the personal training area there was a sign that said TRX base station. It got me curious what it was. So I googled it and found the product online. Then one day I was working out and saw a fellow gym member using the product, at which point it kind of intrigued me. I asked for his opinion on it and he told me it was the best investment he had made.
So after careful research and advice from my friends I decided to pick this up. Figured investing in my body is priceless.
Value: 6/10 - So the price came out close to $200 with tax and everything in the bundle. This is what you get.

Installation: 9/10 - Very easy to setup and sturdy. Can be used anywhere, hence why it gets a 9.
Workout 10/10 - God damn. This product is insane. Now I am not one for using your own body as a weight for workouts, but I have to say, I personally thought I was in pretty damned good shape and would have no problem doing exercises in the book and video. Boy was I wrong. This is intense.
The biggest obstacle/positive notion, is using your core for support. The whole workout is intensive on your core, keeping it tight and strong so as to do the workouts in proper form.
Your body weighs a lot so using it to build more muscles is a good idea. I personally like to use this product after I do my weight training with actual weights because it helps me build a stronger core, and also puts a big strain on my muscles.
The Pro's of this product:
-Its good on the go. You can pack it up in the small carrying bag and bring it anywhere with you, be it vacations, retreats, anywhere literally.
-You do not need anything else besides this, because your muscles will burn after the workout.
-Nice guide to show you the different exercises and what muscle groups you are targeting.
-Amazing for core building and support. Being suspended helps make my core stronger and tighter.
Cons:
- The Price. Could be a bit cheaper. But the way I see it, when it comes to your own health and well being, you can't really put a price on that.
Overall: 9/10 - I would highly recommend this product to anyone that 1. either does not have time for the gym/cant afford the gym or 2. wants something extra to feel the burn in their muscles while building a strong core.
