Recommended I used this product in samples previously but I got my hands on a months supply. I used a few other pwo drinks before with good results, but many of them were clones of each other (1,3). This has none of that in it. The max amount of scoops on the label says 2 but at times that was too strong for me so I could stretch this out for a bit on one scoop. Within 10 minutes or so I could feel the drink working. I felt a bit hyper and warm.

In the gym I had a great deal of energy and a great thermogenic effect. Id get through my weights, sweating profusely and then do my hour of cardio, leaving the gym soaked.

The flavor I had was lemon/lime. It was easy to drink and I didnt have a bad crash after it wore off. I wake at 5am and Im good until I go to bed around 10pm. I was able to fall asleep easily. I've taken it at 4pm and been able to sleep, but I take melatonin at times so that may have helped also.

Id say try this out if you want a good pwo that's formulated in a different way from the current 1,3 drinks out there.

Recommended Why I picked this up?: I was in need of a preworkout and both gnc and vitamin shoppe had none on the clearance racks and being that i am always a little strapped for cash I picked this up to try something new. I know star chem labs past preworkout, Armageddon, gets a lot of sh*t but I actually liked it so I figured why not try this. It was like $5 off so i received a 40 serving container for $25. Label states it will give intense focus, increase vascularity and pump, and it has "extreme" energy. We'll see.

Profile highlights: Right on the front label this product boosts the facts that there is no added sugar and no creatine.

PUMP MATRIX (CITRULLINE MALATE, L-ARGININE, NORVALINE) 2100 Mg
ENERGY AND PERFORMANCE MATRIX (TAURINE,CAFFEINE,ADVANTRA Z CITRUS AURANTIUM EXTRACT(STAND.60% SYNEPHRINE) 725 Mg
FOCUS MATRIX (L-TYROSINE, L-PHENYLALANINE, N-ACETYL-L-TYROSINE, HUPERZINE A 625 Mg

I hate prop blends just like everyone, but with Citrulline Malate listed first in the pump matrix and Taurine first in the energy matrix I figured i'd give it a shot.

Mixability and Taste: Great, mixed with only a few twirls of a spoon this stuff dissolves quickly and easily. As for taste I picked up the Raspberry Lemonade variety which did taste very similar to your usual lemonade mixture except it was rather tart, which I actually kind of like in the morning.

Energy/ Endurance: Very Nice. First of all i workout around 6 am so i need something that will wake me up almost instantly. This stuff did that quite well as long as I adjusted the dose according to how tired i was. Some mornings 1 scoop was perfectly fine. But other mornings I would have to add an extra one.

Pump: Just average. Nothing to see here, move alone. But seriously the pump from this product was just ok, only really felt anything special on bi or tri workouts. I did stretch some sleeves out but on chest, shoulders, back, etc I could not achieve the same results in pump like some products have done for me

Value: At regular price this product is $30 bucks for 40 servings. When you throw in the fact that i had to use more than one serving multiple times the value of this product really sinks.

Cliffs: Even though ingredients looked good they were hidden in three prop blends ; energy and pump were about average to alittle above. No stomach issues! Overall I really liked this product, but I dont think it is worth the full price considering I feel you can do better with that same $30 on a different product. I also did not like that this didnt have any beta alanine. Overall glad I tried this product, I did like it. I would recommend to pick this up if you can find it even slightly on sale but certainly not worth the full price.

Thoughts:

Pump: It was good . The pump wasn't as up to what 1 MR usually gives me, but it left nothing to be disappointed with at only 1 scoop.

Energy: I was a little tired on my way to the gym. The effects of energy kicked in about 30 min after ingestion on an empty stomach. No 1,3 Dimeth euphoria, but I was motivated. No cracked out feeling as well.

Focus: Focus was good.

Recovery: Rested 30-60 seconds between sets. Recovery was awesome. I felt as if I could do another set on pretty much every excercise.

Crash: No crash at all,

Taste: Raspberry Lemonade I'm guessing. Tasted EXACTLY like crystal light pink lemonade. Awesome!!

Pump: 8
Energy: 8
Focus:7
Recovery: 10
Crash:0
Taste: 10

8.5/10

Final Verdict:

Overall, I'd say this is agood PWO product. I would try it again at a higher dose of maybe 2-3 scoops. Starchem did a great job with this one.

Good job StarChem Labs

NOT Recommended Star Chem Labs product. Assuming that this was an honest attempt by the company to market and capitalize on the ever so growing popular area of pre-work out supplements. This was also a honest and failed attempt. The claim...
CONCENTRATED Pre Workout POWERHOUSE
this will yeild...
ENDURANCE, FOCUS, PUMP, ENERGY *
Truthfully I am pleased by the adding of the ( * ) to take away any positive claims that this product will be the least bit effective.
The matrx (s) that are contained are as follows..
Pump Matrix 2100 mg, Energy Matrix 725 mg, Focus Matrix 625 mg

Recommended 1 - 2 scoops for a workout, and the company states to not exCEEd 2 scoops in a 24 hour time period.

Now....
Effectiveness will be at an 2. This is due to the fact that this product does contain the ingredients for an outstanding pre workout but the amount that it contains is not adequate. The ingredients simply need to be more.

Value is at an 2 as well.. This product may allow you to rise in the morning to complete a 2 hour workout then again it may not give you the slightest bit of boost.

Overall.. ( Subjective ) ....
This product did not create any form of a pump within myself. I did not exCEEd the 2 scoops due to this being written on the canister for a reason. I believe that if i should consume 3 or even 4 servings of this item to get positive results, I will have to embrace the 35 dollars wasted on it. I was able to focus on this product compared to being at baseling. Caffeine always allows me to do this . No endurance increase, no energy increase, just a VERY GOOD tasting beverage.. ( Raspberry lemonade)..
I will not write any other products that someone reading this review may want to sample instead due to the information being available is quite plentiful. In this particular area , there are the kings and the kings I believe will not experience a dethrone ( ment ) anytime in the near future.
Brothers and sisters in fitness, when able to , I try the new products that are released just to understand if they in fact have built a better product than the reigning king (s). In this case, no such thing has been created by Star Chem Labs.
You have the option, recommendation from myself, stick with the products whom have time and true delivered results...
Simply put.. Disappointing..

StarChem Labs seems to be consistent in making s**t products. Ever try their "Armageddon" preworkout? Don't!
