I've used 10 lb of the
SciVation whey and I hope to qualify to review this product for the benefit of others who might want to give it a try. Since
Optimum Nutrition's
whey protein seems to be the most liked protein here, let me compare them both. I've used the chocolate flavor of them both - the
SciVation tastes better, the composition is almost on par with ON's Gold Standard Whey, and it is a bit lighter on the pocket when compared to the ON's whey, but feels heavier (
SciVation whey is thicker when mixed with the same amount of water) on the stomach if you know what I mean. It mixes very well in water - that's how I use my
whey protein since I am lactose intolerant. But, with the
SciVation whey I had some gas formation, not with the ON whey and that's why I have given the
SciVation 8 for effectiveness. So, as far as I am concerned ON is the best of them both. I might still come back to the
SciVation whenever I felt like rotating my
whey protein though. On a different note, ON's whey's Strawberry flavor forms quite a bit of froth at the top of my shaker cup. Did anyone else have the same experience with the Strawberry flavor?
