Recommended ~The science
------------------------------------------
When i first heard of digestive enzymes i was really curious. Digestive enzymes help you digest food, absorb nutrition , but it's also cure for heart burn and most digestive tract problems. When the body is low on enzymes due to poor dieting or genetics your food is partially digested and all the nutrients of the food is barely being absorbed. By doing this you're leaving residue in your body you can't digest due to such a huge quantity while you have the lack of enzymes. The PH (Stomach Acid) levels in your stomach rise and your (LES)lower esophageal sphincter opens causing the acid to back up into your esophagus feeling a chest pain like sensation. Enzymes are a cure for bad digestion. The LES can open through more than just bad dieting it can be a genetic too.

These digestive enzymes worked just as good as any other digestive enzyme i have taken (GNC)~(NOW)~(TwinLabs) I would say digestive enzymes are a must if you want to absorb all the nutrients you can it's also a detox in a way. If you're eager of your nutrition . enzymes are a must in your diet i usually took one with every meal the GNC said take 3-7 daily , NOW was 3 times a day , Twin Labs 2. You really don't feel a difference but a way you can tell enzymes are actually working is take any type of food product crush your enzymes or open the pill pour the powder onto the product. I did this with a steak only with the GNC within 20-30mins the steak had partial holes in it. I hope this review helped you !

Cons:

Recommended in the past i've tired the GNC brand digestive enzymes and after seeing Big Worm's review on these i decided to give these a try; this is also my first Sci Fit product.

Ingredients: Pancreatin 4x 500mg, Betaine Hydrochloride 324mg, Pepsin NF 130mg, Bromelain (from pineapple) with rice flour 250mg, Turmeric 50mg, Peppermint Extract 4:1 50mg.

basically. Digestive Enzymes are to improve the body's natural digestive process. this is supposed to help with easing discomfort, increased food digestion rate, increased absorption and bio-avability.

Taste/Smell/Dosage: not much of a taste to them at all, although they do smell pretty funky. directions say to take 1-2 capsules twice daily with meals. right away i jumped into 4 capsules daily.

Effectiveness: it fairly really well. it cut down on stomach discomfort and bloating, i feel like it helped improve my digestive system over all. then i tried dosages of 3 and 2 capsules, honestly i didn't see much of a difference, if so it was very minor. didn't completely get rid of my digestive issues, but it did help. maybe the body can only use but so many digestive enzymes at a time? i'm not really sure..

Value: great, i purchased 120 capsules from BodyBuilding.com for $9.99. depending on how you chose to dose it will vary in how long it will last you, playing around with dosaging myself it lasted my roughly one month.

Overall: very good supplement to include in any stack regardless of age, gender or goal. improves overall all digestive system process, allows you to get more out of your foods(and even protein shakes) price is good for the amount of capsules you get.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Helps Break Down Foods And Protein Shakes
  • Great Value
  • Decreases Bloat
  • Smells Funky

Recommended I don't know how many of you use digestive enzymes, but anyone that doesn't need to give them a try. I was honestly surprised at how well these actually worked. And to beat it all, Sci-Fit makes them, so you know they are made with quality.

Effectiveness- I would always experience a lot of bloat after my meals (especially while bulking. These really, really decreased that bloat. After i started taking these, i would rarely even get bloated. But there was one time that i knew that Sci-Fit's digestive enzymes were legit. I came down with a stomach virus. This virus would make me bloat after a meal so bad it would give me back problems. The bloat would last about 2-3 hours after a meal, with horrible gas accompanying the bloat. So i decided to take an extra cap with my serving(2 cap = 1 serving) The bloat was not gone, but it was very short lived and it was not near as painful.

Taste/Smell- There really isn't a taste to them, but the smell is like rotting pig crotch. Although, i have never smelled any digestive enzymes that smelled good.

Price- You cant beat the price, 60 servings for $9.99 Thats about a months worth.

Digestive enzymes should not be overlooked. Protein is hard for the body to break down, so the digestive enzymes will aid in breaking them down. So if you are interested in trying some, give Sci-Fits brand a try. You will not be disappointed.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Decreases Bloat
  • Helps Break Down Protein
  • Smells Like Cray's Mom

Do you think this would help with the "food baby" I carry around after eating? In the morining when I wake up my stomach is flat and I can see my abs. But throughout the day after eating and drinking a ton of water I look like I am 4 months pregnant. LOL

Quality Enzymes also help rid the intestines of traces of red meat left behind from what I hear.

Nice review and welcome to the 2,000 rep club bro.

For another enzyme trial, check out the GNC multi enzymes. No, i'm not recommending because i work at GNC now. But Venom recommended them to me a while back and i'm on my second bottle and they work VERY well.
