Recommended I have used BCAA AKG 1000 from sci-fit for the longest time and recently went through 2 bottles of BCAA-lyn.

Everyone knows the benefits of BCAAs and supplementation throughout the day and at key anabolic times. Sci-Fit has added their Ph-Balancing touch to BCAAs as they have done with Creatine, Glutamine and Protein. Taking more with less as the slogan goes and it delivers as usual with Sci-Fit.

Let's get the review going...

The Run - 2 in the morning upon wake with whey. 2 postworkout w/ Torrent. 2 at night with Casein. Additional supplements can be found on my profile.

Effectiveness 9 - These are BCAAs, so if you have supplementing BCAAs in the past you aren't going to see a huge 1000% improvement. Although, by only taking 1.5g (2 caps) you get the results of 7.5g of traditional BCAAs. The ratio is 750mg Leucine, 670mg of IsoLeucine, 230mg of Valine. Maybe a bit heavy on the IsoLeucine side, but still a quality product. Recovery time was improved by this product running it as I described. Give it a 9, because I feel the newer 8:1:1 ratio in Modern BCAA may have this beat.

Value 8 - Reasonably priced at a variety of outlets. You typically could find deals for buy one-get one, but those are harder to come by. Still great value for the results you get.

Soreness - This product significantly helped with soreness on heavy lifting days. Especially on squat day. The recovery time was definately noticable.

Conclusion - If you are running your BCAAs seperately, then seriously consider BCAA-Lyn, it is a quality product with a great profile. I even run this along side Modern BCAA (intra-workout) and it complements it nicely.

Thumbs up!

Recommended I got a pretty good deal on this stuff through bodubuilding.com awhile back. They had a buy 1 get 1 free plus I got to use a 20% coupon. I think this was a pretty good deal and could not pass it up. BB.com does a lot of these buy 1 get 1 free on Sci-fit products.

I had been hearing some good stuff about this product and I knew Sci-fit made some good products and thought I would give this stuff a try.

For a long time I was having some upper back problems and getting a lot of tention on the right side next to my right shoulder blade from a pulled muscle I had about a year ago. I could start to feel not long after I started taking this stuff that this pain I was having in my upper back started to go away. Overall my upper back started to feel a lot better since I started taking this stuff. I feel like my overall recovery time has been cut down a lot. I feel like my muscles are not as sore and feel more full and harden.

I like that this stuff is PH buffed so your body will retain and absorb all of it. I like the kind of pills this stuff comes in because they are very easy to swallow. For a recovery product I think it has done a lot for me since I lift about 6 days a week and usually hit the weights pretty hard a couple hours or so a day.

I would recommend this product if you want a good recovery product that not to expensive and works.

Nice review. I got that same deal on bb.com. I like the ease of use of the pill form. My only complaint is that the serving size is underdosed IMO, so I realized it probably wasn't as good of a value as I thought once I dosed it at what I think is effective. I would get it again if I could get the same deal though.

Maybe Recommended BCAA-Lyn is hard to actually review even if you cut all other recovery supplements out. That being said, I like pretty much every other person that has taken this, also took Gluta-Lyn. Recovery on these products together are noticed though. Muscle weakness, and soreness was really noticed. I ran this consistently for months and then stopped to see if after being consistent in the gym if this was necessary. For the price, yes it is worth it to be a staple. I could feel small yes, but muscle fatigue none-the-less, after a hard leg day, or intense long drawn cardio session.

Taking 2 pre and 2 post workout burns through the pills quite rapidly so it is just easiest to order the 240ct rather religiously.

Recommended If anyone says this stuff is too expensive they must be trying to pull pennies from the couch, I GOT IT FOR FREE! BB.com had a little deal when you bought kre-akalyn you get this and another free bottle of gluta-lyn. So why not right? Well I just finished my bottle of this stuff and I'm sold on it. I was hearing good things about the new BCAA product by USP Labs but this got to me first so I'm pretty happy with the results. It does exactly what you'd expect a BCAA would do. Just a little heads up you do burn through a 60 count bottle fairly quick so you might want to get a larger bottle. Just make sure you are taking in your daily protein or else this product won't have any effect.

Recommended Well… BCAA-lyn…where do I begin? First and foremost it must be said that I believe that a product like this one is very hard to judge… only because of the fact that BCAA-lyn is almost exclusively stacked with other recovery products. You have your Glutamine or in my case Gluta-lyn, Creatine or, again, in my case Kre-Alkalyn and some may even have an intra-workout product, which, is another source of BCAA’s. (I didn’t take an intra-workout until after my last bottle of BCAA-lyn was finished but I’m sure it would only help in recovery.)

Factor all of this in and BCAA-lyn would look like a miracle product…as do most of the supplements people take … unless it’s very unique …which, I believe, Sci-Fit BCAA-lyn 1500 is.

Overall/Results? Well… being in a results Driven world… I personally have nothing but high marks for BCAA-lyn. I know that many weightlifters, myself included, are the types to dread the ever infamous …”LEG DAY”… Now don’t get me wrong, I like throwing weights around. I like squatting ‘til my legs feel like jelly… How about deadlifts? Yes Please!! As far as my back can go of course… but 2 days later you regret all that pleasure. BCAA-lyn has helped in my DOMS. I can not remember a time when I was walking regularly on a Thursday but these little green pills did what they claimed. I will give it a strong 8… why? As I said… I had this stacked with many other products including Universal Labs 100% Beef Aminos, which, I pop throughout the day… I’m talkin’ about 8 to 12 pills a day. All in all these products do compliment each other… that I’m sure of.

Effectiveness…10 Here.. it is.. where BCAA-lyn gets its highest mark from me. Picture a house of cards. You can pull one out here or you can take one out there… but there’s one card you can pull that will bring the entire house down. For me… it was BCAA-lyn. Soon after I finished my last bottle I immediately looked towards my next leg day with some hesitance so… I raced to the local Vitamin Shoppe and looked for something comparable…. this is where I first chose an intra-workout. But …it was all for naught… I felt great during my workout and after. The next day was ok but I always feel fine the day after. The second day is when I realized how effective BCAA-lyn really was… man I was sore. If your body can tell when you are taking a product and when you are not that is a tell tale sign of the products effectiveness. Thumbs up for BCAA-lyn…

Value/Cost?... Well… 34.99 + shipping from BodyBuilding.com for 240 caps is a 60 day supply. To curb the pain of the DOMS for basically 2 months? This is priced just right. I’ll rate it a 9 only because I’m a cheapskate :) ha ha … yeah I want everything cheap… I wish Sci-Fit and maybe MHP sign a contract with Walmart :P

But as for a products value or worth? This is definitely worth it.

All in all this is a great product but I won’t get it again for a while. I wanna try some other products but I’ll definitely come back to Sci-Fit BCAA-Lyn 1500…

Get some!!!

Mr. Catch ...Mr. Worm ..thank you.

I as actually looking at the powder just because of the servings per container...WOW.

But I actually did an about face when I saw that it contains both sucralose and acesulfame-K.

I really wanted to try Chain'd Out too but that has aspartame... it's like we can't win. >:(

Thanks all.. I have been holding back on some reviews.. reason being is that I am currently using products that have replaced others from different companies ... so I am kind of doing "comparison testing" if you will.

Soon .. I will set off a bunch of reviews ... some of which will surprise some people,,, dare I say "shock" some people?

Yes ... I dare.

Stay tuned people.

NOT Recommended I tried this product along with Sci Fit's Glutamine AKG 1000 as they came together on a buy one get one free deal. After excellent results with Sci Fit's Gluta-lyn, I was looking forward to trying this product and had very high hopes for it.
A little background on the product, it claims to be the worlds only 100% absorbable BCAA Complex. A serving is 2 capsules which equals 1.5g. Sci Fit claims this 1.5g is equivalent to 7.5g of a normal BCAA product. The exact breakdown is Leucine-750mg, Isoleucine-670mg, and Valine-230mg.

Unfortunately, despite high hopes, I came away very disappointed by this product. Upon stopping Gluta-lyn and starting this product along with the Glut AKG 1000, my soreness from workouts increased very noticeably and strength was reduced going into my next workouts. I even tested against another BCAA product which was Cytosport's Monster Amino that has 5g of BCAA's. It was two days after my leg day and I was still extremely sore. The BCAA Lyn didn't seem to reduce the soreness even after increasing the dosage. Upon downing a serving of the Monster Amino, the soreness seemed to be noticeably reduced within a few hours. So as to the claim of 1.5g being equivalent to 7.5g of a normal BCAA, my experience was definately not.

Although this product does seem to give some degree of recovery, it definately was worse than the other 5g BCAA products that I have tried and since the price per serving of this is pretty high, I think I'll try something different next time. I definately will be going back to Sci Fit's Gluta-lyn though.

Sorry for didn't see good results with BCAA-lyn. I had fairly good results with this product, but not as good as an intra-workout supplement such as xtend or recoup.

I was very surprised I didn't like this product better. I definately had better results with the Monster Amino. Interesting though on the Xtend and Recoup as I was thinking on giving one of those 2 a try next, thanks for the reply!
