Promax isn’t kidding when they say that their bars are the best tasting bars on the market. I picked these up because I was looking for a
protein bar that contained at least 20g of protein, didn’t have any sugar alcohols in them, and were relatively affordable.
Promax bars fit all three criteria, and are my favorite
protein bar to date.
These bars are nice and soft, so you won’t have to break a tooth trying to tear through one of these things like you would with some other
protein bars. They are a little chalky, but the texture overall is easy to swallow. Like mentioned earlier the flavor is outstanding, I have tried the double fudge brownie, cookies and cream, and chocolate chip cookie dough and all of them taste great. You could damn near convince me these things are real candy bars. They contain a suitable amount of fiber, vitamins and minerals, and potassium but they do contain a lot of sugar in them, anywhere from 20 to 30 grams depending on what flavor you get. It makes them a good choice for a good
pre-workout snack though, since you can burn all that sugar off easily. I’d rather have that then a bar loaded with sugar alcohols that will make you run to the bathroom.
The value of these bars is very good as well. 14 dollars for a 12 pack comes out to about $1.17 a bar, a lot of other
protein bars run well into the 20 to 30 dollar range for a 12 pack.
Promax bars are a cheap, effective, great tasting and convenient way to get a little extra protein in your diet throughout the day, and a good
pre-workout snack choice with the carbs and protein they provide. They are good for anyone on a bulk, or if you want the best tasting bar on the market. I would definitely recommend these.
