Neurocore is the first concentrated pre-workout supplement to be created by MuscleTech. With the hit and miss reputation of their other pre-workout, NaNO Vapor, MuscleTech made a smart decision and went with at scientifically backed pre-workout formula. Since its release, the consensus has been that it is a solid product and a legitimate contender among the top pre-workouts.

Ok guys this will be first REVIEW as a EXPERT!. A little nervous and dont want to disappoint.
I first heard about this from Jmetal. Some of you might remember him. So I sent a email to muscletech. And guess what? I got a tub for free in the mail.! Before it hit stores!
SO lets look at the ingredients.
Beta-alanine 3200mg
L citrulline 3,000mg
Creatine HCL 3,000mg
Geranium extract 531mg
Caffeine anhydrous 330mg
Rhodiola extract 100mg
Deanol bitartrate 50mg
Vinpocetine 5mg
This is for the full dose of 3 scoops though.
Vascularity: 8
I do look for this in most of all products. I did notice some veins popping easier than normal. Not much you can say on this unless you try it.
Endurance : 8.5
This stuff really works. I could go in and really pound it out for a good solid hr or two and still have some in the tank.
Pump : 8
Now I was taking Nitrox II while on this so this will be hard to judge. I did notice the pumps come on a lot easier while on this and for some reason stayed with me lot longer as well. One side effect I did have was sweating way more and seemed be a lot hotter..My skin even looked red at times.
Focus :9
This is where it shines for me. I would rather have focus over pump and endurance or taste or anything. I love having tunnel vision and good mind muscle connection. I would totally zone out with this stuff. I never had a hard crash from it either.
Taste: 8
I did not think it was bad. After having Gnc RAW nothing can taste bad.
Strength:8
I never thought a PWO could help here., but it did. Might be a placebo effect. But I was very focused and numbers did go up.
Value: 9
I think this is not bad priced. I never had to use more than 2 scoops. You can always find good deals. Mine will be higher just cause I got a good deal. :)
I think muscletech may have turned things around with this product. No PROP blends.. just straight up goodies.
I would honestly say this will be close to Jack3d or some of the better ones I have used.
I Hope I did will on this review.
Thanks

The problem with this supplement is very simple. We take preworkout supps like this mostly for energy, so we can push through workouts, have focus and workout longer (which logically would lead to greater strength and muscle tone etc). This supplement DOES NOT give you energy. Repeat, it DOES NOT give you energy.
I did 2 scoops for a week or so and then of course I upped it to the recommended 3 scoops and then finally even a little more than 3 scoops.
I write this now, fresh off of a Saturday afternoon workout where I should have had a decent amount of energy (based on not working today) and I was dead a half hour in to the workout.
This will give you a bit of a pump if you are doing an upper body workout. Ultimately though, without getting energy from a PWO supp, it is essentially useless. I'm halfway through my SECOND bottle of the stuff as well, so I definietley gave it enough time.
I'm a 36 yr old guy who's been working out for 20 years if that helps anyone in deciding how much faith to put in my review. Just ordered Muscle Marinade and DPOl so let's see if those will do anything or if I just got suckered again..

Let me start by saying that I have cycled Jack3d, White Flood, 1MR, Dark Energy, Super Dumb, and have sampled N.O. Xplode over the years, so its not my first rodeo when it comes to pre-workouts.
The Good:
I have to say that this is tied for my favorite PO's that I have tried, Jack3d being my previous "go to". The energy I received from taking it was amazing, I felt like a beast. Seriously, I didn't want to stop working out, and would tak on a few exercises at the end of my workout on most days. I also started up my boxing routine again, and this stuff just made me want to push harder. I also felt an increase in strength, but I'm not sure if it was a mental or physical effect, all I know is I was able to put up slightly more weight rather quickly after beginning taking it. The pumps I received were also a welcomed side effect which not many PO's have given me.
The Not-So-Good:
The taste is just awful. Awful. It will haunt my dreams for years to come, and is by far the nastiest PO in terms of flavor. However, I do not take PO's for the taste, I take them for effect so the taste doesn't effect my overall rating, it is just a warning for those who aren't as tolerant to the awful tasting powders. Secondly, the crash I experienced afterward were pretty bad. I do feel like i crashed not from the Neurocore but more from the increased amount of working out I did, so I might have to cycle back on to confirm.
Overall:
Please, do yourself a favor and pick this up. I bought it mostly because of the ratings and the fact that it was BOGO on bodybuilding.com(probably still is) but I am so happy I did. I will try this again for sure because it gave me so much energy and the strength gains over the cycle were amazing.

All I can say after trying Neurocore in WOW !!! I tried this pre-workout based on reviews I saw on several websites including SR and I am very happy with my decision..I won't talk about ingredients here since that can be found on any website, but focus more on the effects I had from using the product.
Taste/Mixability: 8/10 .. I could not find any flavor other than Fruit Punch which was a bummer since that is NOT one of my favorite flavors..on the positive side, this was much better than the Jack3d version of Fruit Punch but still not delicious.. but mixability was very good.. just stirring it in water for 10 seconds did the trick..but they do need to introduce some new flavors soon..
Timing: 9/10.. This kicked in very fast ... I'd say about 15 minutes after ingestion. I would start feeling the beta alanine tingles and be ready to hit the weights...another good thing about Neurocore is that I build little to no tolerance throughout the course of taking this product. I started at 2 scoops and never felt the need to exceed 2.5 scoops.. this thing worked almost every time barring one or two occasions..
Energy: 9/10.. Very clean energy on this one.. hardly felt any jitters.. I could lift for 1.5-2 hrs after consuming this so it did the trick for me.. most of my workouts dont exceed 90-100 mins so it was fine.. also, no headaches, dizziness, nausea.. I felt a few jitters (nothing crazy) while I was on Jack3d but Neurocore provided a very clean, jitter free energy burst.. I was always in control of the weights.. did not feel like smashing the weights around or anything crazy like that..so very good in the energy department..
Strength/Endurance: 9.5/10 .. this was the area where this beat most of the pre-workouts on the market. Beta alanine always works for me, but the amount of BA in 2 scoops of Neurocore seemed like the right amount for me .. it helped me lift longer without feeling fatigued.. rest between sets went down too.. I felt like doing more in less time but was always under control ...another department where Neurocore surprised me was the strength area.. I could notice this most while squatting where I was able to increase my max weight by 15 lbs .. this was not as noticeable while working smaller muscle groups like biceps, delts, calves, etc.. but this was definitely a big positive for me..
Pump: 8/10.. the pump produced during workouts was very good but I do not attribute this entirely to Neurocore because I was stacking this with Purus Labs' D-Pol which contains a good amount of nitrates.. still, I skipped D-Pol on two occasions to check the pump I got from Neurocore alone and it did not disappoint.. not as hard as when stacking with D-Pol, but still better than most pre-workouts I've had..
Value: 8/10 .. I got this for around 2000 bucks which is around $40.. in India, this price was comparable to other pre-WO supps like 1 M.R., Jack3d and Black Powder, so the price was good IMO.. I was taking 2-2.5 scoops during my workouts .. so 45 scoops lasted me roughly a month.. so no major complaints here..
Conclusion: I was reluctant to try Neurocore because this was my first Muscletech product and I've always heard that they spent spades on marketing and that their products are average at best, etc etc.. But I think they have a great product in Neurocore.. it should satisfy most gym goers' purpose.. Now I'm enticed to try out their Nanostim but will wait for some more opinions for trying that one out.. hope this Review helps.. let me know of any questions.. happy lifting till then :)

 So my buddy decided to buy some neurocore, thought it would be a nice change for pre-work outs which i dont blame him, seeing how you build a tolerance to other pre-work out you take. So here is my verdict on trying Neurocore for the first time today;
Focus
I find that my work out i have to be extremely focus and concentrated to achieve what i want. This product did show great results with that, so i give it a solid 10/10 for focus and concentrations.
Pumps
It says to take it 30-45 mins before your workout, but honestly i took it right before i got into the gym. We all know pre workouts kick in a lot sooner, depending who you are, we all know how our body works when it comes to taking that stuff. So after a stretch and warm up, i started to feel my body get extremely warm and a little tingly. I didnt achieve the pumps i wanted, so that really disappointed me...and that was with 3 scoops(recommended amount) i give pumps a 6/10.
Taste
Now ladies and gentlemen, im sorry to disappoint some of you Neurocore lovers...but the taste was horrific!! i have never experienced such a nasty tasting pre work out(liquid in general)in my entire life!! It felt like i was trying to drink a strong drink of alcohol...i could not take it down and had trouble doing so!
Crash
No crash! i feel fantastic after i worked out, felt like i had an alright workout and that i could have kept going but i know my limits. Like i said, we all have different experiences with crashes and prwork outs, but for me, so far, ive got no crash what so ever.
Hope this helps, and i recommend this product just to give it a shot, it wouldn't hurt. For me, once was enough. Cheers!
Ps-ive been taking pre workout for a while, just not neurocore. Ive mainly sticked with Ravage by gnc Beyond Raw. Could be a stronger dosages in ingredients? but again, the scoops are highly concentrated and i took the recommended dosage. Everyone is different.

I have used most pre workout biggies, including super pump (250 and max), 1mr, and jack3d. Neurocore seems to do it all. I get good pumps, vascularity, focus, energy, and strength gains using this product.
I do stack it with super pump or jack3d rop improve the taste, and get the best of all of them. I plan to try Assault soon. I use two parts Neurocore to one part of what I am stacking it with. I mix in joint juice for my old knees and elbows!

*First review so ill be quick only because I really hate long reviews.*
STUFF WORKS
-Gets you ready for whatever routine your looking to tackle.
-Good pumps good focus
-Not only for all your people that only bench and do arms! Also for the big guys to, on dead-lift days when Im going for 12 plates(6 each side) I take 3 scoops of this guy!! other days ill take 2.
Strength:
-Its a dam pre workout... its just suppose to help motivate our lazy butts to get there
- the strength you get from it is what you put into it!!!!!
Good PRICE!
-Im going to buy more I can tell you that.
- I suggest taking 2 scoops 3 is alot.... also saves good amount of money.
MIX!
its a easy mix you wont need to shake it all day 2 scoops little glass I stir and drink.
Ive been using supplement reviews for quite some time now. And I see alot of people Bit@hing about this product and others..... when your that guy on your cell phone and the guy that does a set and goes to the next machine....And complains that the stuff doesn't work..
THIS STUFF WORKS AND IT WORKS WELL!
I've taken Super pump250(also good) Super pump Max(Not better then 250) C4, and some other ones this is easily my fav so far.
JUST LIKE ANY OTHER PRE WORKOUT I run on the treadmill to start my workout, NOT far but .25 of a mile in 2 min wont hurt it gets good blood flowing through your body and lets your body know its time to DO WORK!
Thanks for reading. *I don't try to be mean I just tell it how it is*

I've had rather poor experiences with the numerous Muscletech products I’ve used before, and had vowed to never waste my money on them again. However, after finishing the 45 serving Neurocore that I received as a gift, I think that this product deserves a thumbs-up, and is probably the only one from Muscletech (right now) that I’d recommend to others.
----Ingredients: 9/10
Big thumbs up to Neurocore for not hiding behind a proprietary blend and letting us know exactly what ingredients, and how much of each we are getting. I'm not going to go over every single ingredient contained, but will acknowledge that the most important ones are all present and adequately dosed at the full 3 scoop serving.
Beta-alanine is at 3,2 g which is the proven effective dose, caffeine at 330mg and l-citruline at 3g for the pump. Neurocore also contains 1,3 dimeth which I respond really well to, however, I’ve had a hard determining exactly how much pure DMAA we get here between the two ingredients of “geranium extract” (531mg) and “Deanol bitartrate” (50mg).
----Dosing: 7/10
30 minutes prior to exercise, 1-3 scoops depending on your tolerance. The scooper inside is a bit smaller than the standard industry size at about 4g. I’ve always dosed at 3 scoops and think that any amount under, the essential ingredients would be under dosed and ineffective. Hence, I would have much preferred a larger scooper where one scoop would do the job, instead of the advertised “45 servings” divided by 3.
----Mix ability: 10/10
I had absolutely no problems mixing Neurocore; shaken or stirred, it dissolved perfectly in the water with no stray particles. If only it tasted as good as it mixed…
----Taste: 2/10
The so-called "fruit punch" flavor is without a doubt one of the worst things I've tasted in my 22 years of living! I can tolerate the fact that the concoction resembles nothing even slightly reminiscent of fruit, but what really makes my entire body shake in disgust is the strong, bitter chemical aftertaste. Rest assured that any after burps will also carry this despicable flavor.
The only positive thing that resulted from the taste was that having to down an entire cup of this would make me so angry that I'd have more fuel in the gym!
----Results/Effectiveness: 8.5/10
Neurocore is very stim-heavy and significantly jacks up my heart rate, so I did not use it for my typical cardio (HIIT) for safety reasons, and only with warm-up cardio before lifting weights. In the weight room, Neurocore (and Muscletech for the first time) really exceeded my expectations. At 1 or 2 scoops, I found it to be ineffective because of the under dosing of key ingredients, but when I used the 3 full scoops it never let me down, and always made me blow through my workouts.
Mentally, Neurocore always gave me razor-sharp focus, an intense mindset and tunnel vision when I’d get into on my workout. I enjoyed the totally wired feeling that the caffeine and DMAA gave me, making me feel like the only thing that existed in the world was my music blasting and brother iron, sister steel. I also felt more ambitious in terms of the weight that I wanted to lift and went straight at many personal records.
Physically, I experienced improved endurance, a slight increase in strength and significant pumps when stacked with Nitrox 2. One interesting thing that I noticed was that these physical effects would be greatly amplified if I did a thorough warm-up before the weights as compared to when I did not. The increased physical endurance meant that I could pump out a good 1-2 more reps out of all my sets, and helped especially significantly on leg days. I actually broke some PRs on squats, calf raises and lunges. Neurocore’s pumps were decent by itself, but when I stacked it with Nitrox 2, it made me look at least one shirt size bigger and I even got pumps in my hand, which I had never experienced before. Some skinny guy thought I was on steroids!
----Value 7/10
I got this as a gift, but online this can be found for as low as $20 for a 45 serving tub plus shipping; taking 3 full scoops, it comes down to about $1.33 per workout which is reasonable, although there are definitely better value PWOs on the market.
----Overall 7/10
Neurocore was a pleasant surprise and I had a great experience with it, especially loving the boosted endurance aspect. This is the first Muscletech product that I’d recommend to the SR fam, and hope to see MT use their resources to develop more products like this instead of buying those 4 page ads!
