Essentially, along with
Musashi Bulk protein, this was one of my first supplements! I remember this because I was about 16 or thereabouts, and I had the raspberry flavour, it smelt and tasted so much like jelly crystals that I made it and set it in the fridge to see if I'd been conned or not. It didn't set, so it was good!
Price - 10/10:
For what you get, its a very affordable
pre-workout creatine product for a beginner bodybuilder or performance athlete, even if you get it from the Supermarket.
Taste - 10/10:
Tastes like Raspberry Jelly! I honestly never got tired of the taste and would frequently just eat a scoop or a half of the powder whenever I wanted something sweet.
Mixability - 6/10:
Unless you use a shaker cup you'll get a considerable amount of clumping going on in there, so it wasn't too greatly mixed. However once it was all dissolved it had a nice consistency.
Effectiveness - 7/10:
As far as creatine and
recovery goes I'd say it was effective for the price. It comes with it about 3g of creatine per serving which is a good amount as well as a pretty full spectrum of
amino acids that aid in anabolism and
recovery. It also has some
Dextrose and maltodextrin which are good
pre workout carbs. It's purely affordable
recovery and
Amino energy, I'm a bit beyond it now but I do suggest to anyone just beginning.
Musashi is also an Australian brand, and if you are in Australia it's always a nice idea to support supplement manufacturing here. So if you're starting out buy this and a good protein, then lift hard!
