Here is another epic review from the hulk! Today we will look at Dark Rage by MHP! I have used many different PWO’s and have had some good and some bad. This little critter was an odd one for me for many reasons. Let’s start off by saying this I can not compare it to the others that I have tried, since it is so different. Let’s take a look at Dark Rage!!

--------------------TASTE 3.5/10------------------------------------

The total says a lot. This was the worst tasting supplement that I have ever used. I had the blue raspberry and it did not taste like blue raspberry at all. They do have one other flavor fruit punch but I would bet money its just as bad. It had a severe medical taste to it and then you think it will get better and BOOM the after taste is just as bad. I never enjoyed drinking this one could not look forward to it didn’t grow accustom to it nothing. Just used it for it overall performance.


---------------------------FOCUS 9/10-------------------------------

This product did deliver on solid gym performance! With out a doubt if you can get by the taste and after taste and even smell and drink it down you will be happy. I would look forward to lifting as heavy as I could and try for more every lift. You will notice immediate endurance and strength from this product. If you go to the gym with out an ipod get one! You will not want to be bothered by anyone. This was my favorite part of this product.

--------------------------ENERGY 9/10 ------------------------------

Energy that this product supplied you with was very clean with little to no crash. I noticed that after 20-25 min after i consumed it i had good beta-tingles and also noticed the rush of adrenalin thru my body. I would strongly recommend starting with a ½ dose first to figure out your tolerance. Also I would not take this product anywhere near bed time. This is a perfect product for those grueling A.M workouts. Since it gives you a jolt and wakes ya right up. You will notice even after 2hrs in the gym your energy level is still very high and you can be productive all day long.

The content impressed the foo out of me. It did have the usual suspects of beta-alanine caffeine . This also contains a whole bunch of other goodies as well.
Epodrol- this helps with the red blood cell stimulation to increase pumps while working out. It also contains l-arginine and di-arginine malate again n.o product for pumps.
It has ginkgo, yohimbe hcl and turaine. Here is a list of all the other fun things in it

Just a very impressive list of ingredients in my honest opinion! Even though it is a blend you can’t beat this.

------------------------------SIDE EFFECTS 5/10------------------------------------------

I do have to add this section since I did notice some minor sides. My first side that I had and most noticeable while working out was nausea and minor head aches. Also insomnia if taken with in 4hrs of bed. These sides may have some people saying well I don’t want those I noticed that the nausea went away if I had a small meal before the PWO was taken in. and head aches also went away as long as I stayed hydrated during my work outs. All simple stuff that can be fixed real easy.


Overall I would have to say if you can stand the taste and want a solid work out this is a product to try. The price isn’t bad you can either get the packets or the 2lb tub between 30-38 bucks.
So give it a shoot and you won’t be let down .

Alright, this is my first review, so bare with me.

I have finished two full tubs of this product, both grape flavor. At the end of the second tub, I was still unable to take a full scoop before my workout.

TASTE & MIXABILITY: 8/10

The grape flavor was not nearly as bad as what I was expecting, although I never looked forward to drinking it. The smell reminded me of Ocean Spray CranGrape juice, as did the taste. This product didnt mix very well, was very grainy, and the product would not dissolve, even with a few minutes of sitting time. I found it was easier to take 1/2 scoop with 4 oz. of water and just shoot it down the hatch. Overall, I somewhat enjoyed the taste, and I believe there is far worst tasting products compared.

As a comparison point, i've also tried- Superpump Max, Noxipro, Jack3d, C4, NO-Xplode, Assault, Hemo Surge, and others.

EFFECTIVENESS: 9/10
Pump: 8/10
Energy & Focus: 10/10

The pumps from this product were decent, I noticed a slight increase in weight and/or reps without the fatigue. This product also gave me plenty of energy witout discomfort during exercise. The energy was very unnatural, but that was expected. The focus from this product is comprable to the "tunnel vision" ive gotten from other high-stimulant pwo's. I also seemed to have a difficult time leaving the gym, even after my routine workout.

Up until this point I was convinced this was one of the best pwo i've used. It was post-workout that ruined this product, for me. If i took a full scoop 30-45 mins. prior to my workout, with a bit of food or not, seemed to make no difference. Shortly after exercise I would experience, stomach discomfort and small pains, dizzy spells, and feeling like I was going to puke. This would last up to 5-6 hrs. if i took a full scoop and seemed to be more profound if I took this and then did cardio or ab exercises. Also, it made no difference if I had a small post-workout meal or not, I still experienced these effects.


VALUE: 6/10
This product can be quite pricey if you cant find it on sale. I believe for the 2lb bottle i payed around $60, that was at the regular price, I know they had the Cola Fizz flavor on sale for $35 at my local GNC. The scoops are quite large (44.7g), although there is only 20 servings (1 serving = 1 scoop) in the container. To me, for the price to serving ratio, is somewhat unreasonable, when there are others offered at half the price with twice the servings.

OVERALL: 8/10

I am not saying that Dark Rage is not a great product, I do believe there is better products and better values out there. But, if you have an iron stomach and a bit of extra cash, I would buy this over and over. I would like to see MHP come out with a 2nd version of this product, because I would be more than willing to spend the cash to try it, if they claimed to fix the "issues". So depending, there would be a select group I would recommend this product to. As I stated earlier, this was my first review, so any critisim (prefrably constructive) is appreciated.

DARK RAGE IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST WORKING (N.O.)SUPPLEMENTS I'VE EVER TAKEN!

TASTE 2/10 - very weird tasting, definitely taste like grape, and in very very small sips its not that bad. but if your drinking it all in less then 10 mins its the worst tasting thing ever! it tastes like a gallon worth of grape kool-aid in a water bottle. & if your one of those people who think they can hold their nose and chug it all at once i promise you can't! and if you try 2 drink even 1/4 of the bottle in one sip, you'll throw up, guaranteed!

EFFECTIVENESS 10/10 - amazing results, extreme energy boost without a crash, 3x your normal endurance and you feel a little stronger. if your looking for a N.O. with great results, i would DEFINITELY recommend this as my #1 choice.

VALUE 6/10 - definitely more expensive then 95% of other N.O. pumps i paid $50 for my bottle & got 28 servings out of it.

along with staking with whey protein, i gained about 8 lbs more then i usually do while just taking whey. i dosed mine at 1/2 a scoop every day for the 1st half of the tub & a full scoop every other day for the 2nd half of the tub, about 20 mins before my workout.

the reason why it tastes "yuk" its because it work POA it works on placenta and increase red blood cells in veins.
if you notice once you try it the first time the taste won't be bad same as when you take it second and third time and etc..
when u open the bottle the air flow inside it, the thing that has in it that works in placenta start smell bad, like when u leave eggs apart in wash and come back later to smell that nasty smell. and if u cut ur hand and ur blood run out you will notice a bad bad smell from your blood also.

it is good, and have many disadvantages, despite the smell and taste.
but also it is dangerous for those who have blood pressure and high hemoglobin and many other blood diseases

Everything Got BIGGER!! Let Me just start out in saying that My whole Body seemed to grow while taking this pre workout. When I Mean Everything, I Mean My (Mushroom Tip Warrior) Grew over an inch after a full month of taking this! Haha. Wasnt Expecting That!

Okay, Now that I got your attention. Id like to say that this has become my Favorite pre workout of All Time!

First off this does Taste Bad, But I Didnt buy this for it to Taste good, I Bought it so it would Deliver RESULTS. This has A Ton of ingredients in this, Alot of stimulants and Also what I like is that Not only is this a Nitric Oxide Inducing supplement that delivers amazing Pumps and Amazing Tunnel Vision and Focus But It has a Profile of Ingredients that Also are Supposed to Mimic Blood Doping.
Key Ingredients Help Build New Red Blood Cells As well as expand your Blood Vessels for an amazing Pump and also helps with Recovery.

Im Not a Scientist, I didnt run any tests But Im Very Sensitive to changes with My Body and can tell whats going on. I did feel, My Body Heat up More throughout the Day and I Could feel my Veins More Engorged with blood pulsing through my Body More Pronounced than any other products.

I Usually take this 2hrs after a meal before I hit the Gym and when I Get to the Gym I Cant wait to Tear up the weights! Amazing Energy and Focus! This Did get me a little bit jittery but the jitters diminish over a while. My Musles would swell up more during my sets and My strength did go up on all my lifts. I also Felt a Deeper Burn' and Pump with this than any other product I have tried before.

This does have a good amount of stimulants in it so dont take to close to bed time. Alot of times I would wake up in the Night Sweating Alot from this I realized. And that never happens. Im pretty sure My Testoterone levels were rising resulting in the constant Night sweats. Im guessing due to the EPO Mimicing Factors in Dark Rage.

I Highly reccommend this for anyone looking for That "Edge. Its a good value if you can get a good deal online, usually 30$ online. 20servings is fine.

Also take in Note that I wasnt Taking anything else with this, except a Multi vitamin and fish oil. These Results are based on Just Dark Rage. But its a good idea to stack this with Dark Matter. Great Combo

Very Effective Pre Workout IF you can with stand the taste

The taste was god awful (fruit Punch) I cannot think of the appropriate word to begin to describe it. I nearly threw up each time I would consume this product. and I mean EACH time.

The effectiveness makes up for the products lousy taste, It's on of the top pre-workout products that I have used. Gave me a HUGE pump and very nice vascularity as a result. Energy was also highly elevated while using this product. I remember my strength also increased as well. I used Dark Matter along with this as a stack. I noticed my urine as neon green probably due to high amounts of B-Vitamins.

MHP is one of the better companies on the market. I recommend this product ONLY if your man enough to bare the taste.

I completely back this pwo. It does what it says and works every time. i went through 2 tubs back to back and got the pumps and energy i needed out of every scoop. the most impressive part is that it lasted through my high intensity muscle endurance training every time when I crashed on most pwo's i've tried. ok, now to the things I dont like. After I first take it i have to crap right away (both good and bad)and it tastes like crap. If I do a full scoop i get nauses and want to throw up. It also doesn't mix well at all. Last but not least, I break out in crazy sweats and cant focus for nothing. Overall tho..I back this pwo

i took this stuff a while back and it does what it says for the most part.i took it 45 min before my workouts and had big pumps and energy and i was able to lift more weights then without it.what i did not like about Dark Rage was the jitters and some times i thought i was going to pass out.and it did not help with my focuse instead it gave me a bunch of energy to put into my workout.dont take this if you have a weak stomach.overall it does work just take it easy the first few times.

DARK RAGE!!!..Ok all you gym rats reading this review, this is my very first one so bare with me...

I have finished my 3rd tub of this, and the effect it has on my body is still the same from when I first started it...

I havent tried anyother flavor other than the grape, but to me, it reminded me of fizzless coke that sat out in the sun way too long, i have heard alot of people diss this porduct because of the taste alone and my message to them is if you cant manage to down a 16 oz. bottle of this powder,i doubt you are able to lift weight that causes you to cry out in pain ... man up! and chug!..(no offense)...but if you can manage to make it through the crappy taste ....you wont regret it

its a bit on the pricey side ..to me thats the only downside, it lasts for 20 days the same as Dark Matter, I take it exactly 45 mins before my workout, also i noticed that if I ate a small meal like tuna or chicken breast 2-3 hours before the discomfort in my stomach was hardly noticeable....

when the rage hits you, youll feel like can stop a moving train! my experience from it made me want to lift more and more non stop no breaks ....i could finish a 3 set of 8 with 255.. and still be able to throw another set or 2 in the mix if i wanted ...normally without Dark Rage, i would have flatlined by the second set

alright , i got Dark Rage in a stack of supplements and gave it a run because i love trying new pwo supplements and i love mhp. heres my experience

to start MHP uses their proprietary blend which isnt a plus but whatever.

taste/mixability-7-im not one who cares about taste whatsoever but this tastes like Dark Matter fruit punch lol(the new improved flavor of Dark Rage) and its easy to mix but the after taste is bad. leaves a filmy substance in your mouth

effectiveness-8-i give this an 8 , however my experiences difffered. ill compare everything to Jacked , the most popular of pwos. rage was more of a pump , obviously compared to Jacked energy. the pump was great , i felt stronger. although i was jittery , really bad. i also had a shortness of breath pretty bad on supersets. felt like i was overdosing on a drug. i probably used too much so i wont count that against them. the energy of rage was not non-existent though. i felt it instantly. i also wouldnt recommend waiting the full 30-45 minutes. i would wait 20. overall great pump, okay energy.

value-7-believe its 40-45$ and 20 servings, but the servings are 1 full scoop and since im not sensitive whatsoever to stims(i use 3 scoops of Jacked) i used the full scoop and i would advise to start at 1/2 scoop , so in reality it might last from 20-40 servings.

i loved the pump from this product and would definitly recommend Dark Rage. its the best pwo other than Jacked , hands down. just wish MHP would make a similar pwo thats super concentrated without the prop blend. so compared to Jacked , Jacked makes me wanna crush bones and murder people with machetes while in the gym, while rage provides clean , smooth energy along with an amazing pump to concentrate on every rep. its kind of a miracle energy drink feeling of energy. jitters through the roof which i hated.

great product though because like i said i may have taken a lil over the amount needed so i would just advise to start at 1/2 scoop. strong product. good results. no crash.
