Recommended I got a good deal on this product if you have a GNC gold card and Rite-aid you can double your savings by timing right I started taking this product trying to keep from going into a state of catabolism because i gain weight an muscle quickly but having high metabolism its hard for me to maintain. This product has been working out very well for me an has seriously reduced that muscle split next day pain making it easier for me to get back to my reg. day

Recommended This is just one of those supplements that simply everyone should be taking.

I noticed a huge increase in recovery time when I was off of this for a week, and there is solid science behind how/that it works.

Now, GNC may have changed thing up a little bit, because my L-Glutamine is in pills, but you can see through them and it's the same white powder as this product listing.

I take 2 post workout and 2 at night and my soreness is helped a great deal.

This product is fairly cheap as it is, however GNC's is a bit more expensive, earning the 8 value rating.

Overall, a great product, and non-negotiable to be on, but maybe look for a cheaper price.

Recommended I told myself i would never buy a GNC product because they are so overpriced. I only got this because i traded in something and this was the same price and i wanted glutamine.

effectiveness- 10/10
This product gave me amazing recovery. I was never sore after a hard days work at the gym. Also, ive noticed some good gains since adding this product to my post workout shake.

price: the price of GNC products is way too high. i recommend going with a different glutamine if you are low on money. but if you want to spend your money, i recommend this because it works.

overall, i recommend this to anyone willing to spend the money for this. it works and helped me build muscle and recover faster

Recommended Lets see if i can up my game on this review.

I purchased This product at GNC for aroung 20 dollars which is a little bit on the expensive side. the serving size is one heaping teaspoon.

taste- this supplement is an unflavored powder therefore it should not taste like anything. this is true. if mixed in a protein shake you would never know its there. Most of the time i would mix it in with a packet of crystal light and it was still un flavorable. i will say if mixed with water it does have a little grit in it.

Effectiveness- This is the first glutamin product i have used so i have nothing to compare it to. But on the other hand i will say it had a decent effect on my soreness. i used it directly after workouts and i could feel a pretty good difference a couple hours later. it didnt take the soreness completely away so thats why im gonna give it an 8.

Overall i would reccomend this to anyone wanting a little bit better recovery

NOT Recommended GNC was the first L-Glutamine powder i have purchased and supplimented with in my stack. Its glutamine, so cant really give it a good or bad reveiw. The only reason i say i dont recomend this product is because of the BRAND. GNC over prices there products in store and online way too much. For example, on GNC a 5 pound jug of Optimum 100% Whey is $75 *without sale or tax*, $75 DOLLARS!!! BodyBuilding.com after shipping it comes out to be $50. The bottle comes with 227g (45 servings, 1 Teaspoon a serving)so 2 servings a day (post workout, before bed with casein) you lookin at a bottle a month. But i would recomend Optimum Glutamine. $27.89 for 600 grams!!! on BodyBuilding.com. That is 60 days of glutamine if taken 2 servings a day. Dont buy this product, no bang for you buck.

You must shop at a franchise store. Corporate stores always have gold standard on sale. I've never paid 75 bucks for the large tub...ever!

Maybe Recommended L-Glutamine is one of my favorite supplements and is something I have decided I will not go without. However, GNC charges way too much for theirs. I have found others brands give me the exact same result for a fraction of the cost. L-glutamine is a must try for those that do squats. If I don't take a dose on leg day I am walking like I've been hit by a truck for the next 4 days. When I DO take it I feel like I could do the same workout the next day. I usedto buy this stuff all the time until I took a chance on the less expensive brands and was embarrassed by how much money I was wasting. Long story short, great product but way too expensive when you can get the same results much cheaper.

Maybe Recommended You can't go wront with extra L-Glutamine. It is essential for rebuilding muscle and better recovery. GNC sells high quality products, but I'm now switching to a cheaper alternative which will give me the same results. The non-flavored choice is nice because it mixes great with all of my shakes.

Recommended I was benching everyday and popped these glutamine pills (took pill not powder) all day. I put 50 pounds on my bench in a matter of 3 months! It allows you to recover faster so you can bench everyday. BUt like all GNC products they are overpriced!

OK but for people whose bench isnt that good, you need to put some extra work in. This helps!

If you bench press everyday then you do not know how to work out. Let me ask you a question. When you bench press at the gym, how many times in between sets do you have to take off your shirt and stare at yourself in the mirror? 30 times? 40 times?

Listen when your bench isn't very high, you CAN do it every day, because the weight isn't that high relative to what your potential is. However when you get higher up in weights, you CANNOT do bench everyday. At max 2 a week.

O and I take off my shirt at least 50 times between sets btw. All those sweaty guys make me ejaculate in my pants

Maybe Recommended This is pretty good for recovery after a work out. You'll be ready for a next workout after taking this. The only downfall would be that its too expensive for something that only last a month. Im sure there are better glutamine products out there for the money. If you do plan on getting this, the cherry flavor taste great, almost like kool-aid. Its best to take immediately after you workout.
