I've noticed more sport associated products have citrulline malate, such as xtend and pre workouts, but then I noticed L-citrulline by it self. Is there an advantage of the citrulline malate form over the L-citrulline?

CM is L-Citrulline bonded to malic acid to enhance absorbtion.
