For those that are looking at supplements and are seeing a lot more pre-workout drinks or intraworkout drinks with beta-alanine, this may be a good place for you to look to see what it is that you are taking.  This is not an end-all source as it does not cite it's studies but it does have alot of good general knowledge on pH, ATP and glycogen production of H+, and carnosine buffering.

Again, take this all with a grain of salt as it doesn't directly mention who's paying for this information (although I'll bet its Athletic Edge or a subsidiary of them).  Either way though, much of it is useful information to help beef up your supplement knowledge.

Nice find.
Wow I thought the 3g a day I was taking was a lot.  Maybe I should try 4g and see if I get that feeling that most of you feel or maybe the 6g loading they recommend.  The serving size on my NOW Beta-Alanine is 2g.  I did that for a while and upped to to 3 to see if I got that feeling, but still no.  I do like it though, for me it works better than creatine.

The two can actually work well together.  Where the creatine helps more with nutrient absorbtion and ATP, the carnosine buffering that is boosted by the beta-alanine supplementing.  Together, you should really be able to gain endurance in the gym with both lower pH and more buffering and also the nutrients and ATP benefits of creatine.
