Clenbutrx or OxyElite Pro?
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:15:34 PM »
Good evening,

Just a quick opinion needed from the experts!  I have been talking 3ml twice daily of the liquid Clenbutrx my former trainer suggested. I've been talking this for about 2 months now.  I definitely love it, it's a great product, and it keeps my energy high throughout the day.  I've recently just heard about a product named OxyElite Pro.  I've been contemplating this product only because I can find it at GNC, which apparently all of there supps have to pass certain guidelines to be sold.  I know the Clenbutrx is definitely not sold at any chain shop, which I don't really care about, yet I want to be certain that I'm being safe.  Best product for workout enhancement?  Should I stick with Clen or switch to Oxy?

Thank you in advance,

Tammie

How tolerant of stimulants are you? Oxy Elite Pro is pretty intense when it comes to stimulant feeling, so if you aren't comfortable with jitters, I would look into Recreate, which is a tried and true product also made by USPLabs (the company that makes OxyElite).

GNC does carry Clenbutrix, i work at one that starting carrying the product about a month ago.

I also know absolutely nothing about GNC's methods to determine whether or not a product is "Safe", and ive been working there for almost a year, which lead me to believe that no such methods exist at all.

Pete, my tollerance is very good. Thank you. So would you suggest switching? Ryan, my apologies for any confusion. I have a friend who has a friend who us the GM of a GNC location and that came straight through the horses mouth. I will correct my statement above for giving the impression that Clenbutrx may not be safe. I personally have no facts to prive that. I simply wanted to see if one perhaps was better for your well being than the other. Obviously it is safe if it's being sold publically. Thank you all for your response. I'm just very dedicated to maximizing this year with workouts, supplements, attitude. I'm ready... Final answer?switch to Oxy?

I stack both, 1 each of recreate and OEP. They work well together on attacking fat burning through various pathways. I've had to force myself to eat and try to keep up the calories, and I haven't seen any strength loss. If you want my opinion, I would definitely switch.

AnabolicAdam, you are the man!  I actually just left a GNC shop to find my own answer.  They do not sell Clenbutrx and probably will not in the future.  The clerk's reasoning for this was as stated, "We don't sell anything that is borderline to ephedra." "It is too strong."  How true this is, not sure.  But, I am sure about one thing... I'm going to try the OEP.  The stacking method is a new one for me.  So pretty much take one of each in the a.m. and one of each 6 hours later... Thank you very much.  I hope this works!   ;)  (Sorry about the type-o's on the last post, got to love the Iphone keypad)

Yeah, no worries. I used to take 2 Recreate in the AM, and then 2 in the afternoon, but then I picked up the new OEP. Now I take 1 Recreate/1 OEP Am and 1 of each afternoon on an empty stomach. Ive been really happy so far, so has the misses. Girls seem to love Recreate and OEP also. She likes Recreate in the afternoon more, because of less stims. Im sure youll love it too. Any Q's, fire away. Good luck.  ;)

Ha, GNC can sell "Hardcore" MuscleTech but not something that is supposed to resemble clenbuterol.

No worries. Most GNC clerks are a joke. I'm glad that you came here for help instead.

You'll love the combo of Oxy/Recreate.

unfortunately the guys here are usually right - GNC employees are often morons.  But to preserve the integrity of myself and what i told you....

My store absolutely carries Clenbutrix, and its a corporate store.  You may have spoken to someone in a franchise store, but i dont know why he/she would speak for GNC when the franchises dont adhere to a lot of corporate's policies (they often wont even honor my employee discount) and are almost a separate entity altogether.

As for "Not having it because it too closely resembles ephedra"  i cant think of a more moronic answer to your question.  Oxyelite Pro was marketed by USPLabs as "the next ephedra" and "better than ephedra"  so unfortunately the guy you spoke to seems to only reinforce the notion that most GNC employees are idiots.

Another thing the guys on here are right about:  SWITCH TO OXYELITE!

haha, not quite Tammi. Were still just fairly new. We started the forums on here only about 5 months ago and we don't advertise so people find us from word of mouth and by google-ing different supplements that often brings them here. Hang in there though, i'm sure you'll get some x-chromes soon to give you some more input.
