What Makes Isotonix® Multivitamin Unique?

A good quality vitamin and mineral supplement creates a sound micronutrient foundation to accompany a balanced diet. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “Nutrition is the foundation for health and development. Better nutrition means stronger immune systems, less illness and better health. Healthy children learn better. Healthy people are stronger, more productive, and more able to create opportunities to gradually break the cycles of both poverty and hunger in a sustainable way. Better nutrition is a prime entry point to ending poverty and a milestone to achieving better quality of life.”

Vitamins and minerals help to support a healthy immune system, promote the conversion of food into energy, support a healthy cardiovascular system, support strong bones, promote mental clarity, maintain normal metabolic functioning, promote healthy growth and repair of tissues, help maintain normal blood pressure and help maintain water and electrolyte balance in the body. There is no substitute for a healthy, well-balanced diet; however, in today’s fast-paced lifestyles it is important to ensure the body is getting the fuel it needs.*

Isotonix Multivitamin is an isotonic-capable food supplement containing 100 percent or more of the daily value of essential vitamins and minerals. There are wide varieties of vitamin and mineral supplements on the market today. Only Isotonix Multivitamin contains a unique blend of complementary vitamins and minerals with the superior delivery of Isotonix. Isotonix Multivitamin supplements dietary deficiencies and helps maintain normal metabolic functioning. Isotonix Multivitamin is a great supplement choice for all adults and especially for athletes, growing teenagers and pre-menopausal women. Isotonix Multivitamin is available with and without iron for differing nutritional needs.*

Isotonic, which means “same pressure,” bears the same chemical resemblance of the body’s blood, plasma and tears. All fluids in the body have a certain concentration, referred to as osmotic pressure. The body’s common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of body tissues. In order for a substance to be absorbed and used in the body’s metabolism, it must be transported in an isotonic state.

Isotonix dietary supplements are delivered in an isotonic solution. This means that the body has less work to do in obtaining maximum absorption. The isotonic state of the suspension allows nutrients to pass directly into the small intestine and be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. With Isotonix products, little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient while delivering maximum results.

I'd recommend using a generic multivitamin.  A multi is just "insurance" against deficiencies in micronutrients (vitamins/minerals).

Yeah if you are worried about taking compressed pills and it not dissolving all the way, then sure, get it in powder form. but a multi-vitamin isn't anything special to be honest, whether I'm on them or not it doesn't make a difference, its just something to reassure me that I am getting every nutrient I need that I am not obtaining from my diet. But I also consume a super-food powder daily for that reason.

So if you are cash-strapped, just get a generic multi-vitamin, I promise you, you will not notice a difference. no one does.

This multi has some very quality ingredients and because it is powdered you will absorb it better than a hard pressed cap.  It has some key factors working for it that you want to look for in a multi like its minerals not being in an unusable oxide form and your D and E vitamins being in a naturally occurring form instead of synthetic.  But for not having any extra goodies thrown in that are appealing for body builders it does seem a bit over priced.

Cheap multivitamins are in contradiction to what some will say are an even bigger waste of money than buying a quality multivitamin.  Your body will pretty much not even recognize what you are giving it and even worse there are studies that show that oxide form minerals not only are unusable but can have adverse effects on your body.  Honestly when you can find it for around 20 bucks for a 45 day supply of Orange Triad by Controlled Labs I really don't see how less than 50 cents a day isn't worth it to contribute greatly to your general well being.  And if you cut your dose to 4 pills a day instead of six as recommended which is what I do it will last a little over two months for around 20 bucks.
