Recommended This was my first Dymatize product. I was just wanting to try a different PWO and this was the current buzz around my area but nobody I actually trusted had tried it. Someone has to take the leap of faith, so I did.

Taste: 8/10 This is a very important component to just about everyone even if they say they don’t care about taste. Sure, if something works, us hardcore lifters will choke it down but isn’t it even better if it tastes good? I had the Blue Raspberry. I choose this because that is the flavor I normally get with SP250 so I thought it would be a good comparison. This actually has a little more of a bitter taste than the SP250 does to me but it is still a good taste that wasn’t unpleasant at all.

Effectiveness: 8/10 I had taken three weeks off PWO before starting this. I could definitely feel the 2.5g of Beta-Alanine the first couple of weeks. The tingles were there for sure! I had good focus while using this too. Stayed more in line with working out but I normally don’t have a problem with that anyway. I’m not there to talk. Pump? This is where the product fell short. I took without Nitrox II a few times and did not see any pump. Energy; it did give me a good quick boost out of the gates and last for most of my workout which is normally 75 minutes or so. Endurance; I had more endurance where my muscles didn’t fatigue as quickly.

Value: 8/10 It comes out to be about .67 (not factoring in S&H) a serving if you get a good price off the internet. That is on par with most PWOs and actually comes in at the low end. I say that because most everyone needs at least 2-3 scoops of Jack3d to get what they want out of that product. Near the end of the tub, last 10 workouts maybe, I did up to about 1.5 scoops of this.

Overall: 8/10 Seemed to be a good product. I never got the jitters from it but did get a good jolt of energy and extra stamina during the workout. I didn’t quite get the stamina that I got from Green Mag but I didn’t have to drink another shake either. My main concern about this product is the name. If you are going to have “Xtreme Pump” in your name, at least have some pump! I combined this with N2 like I said and that worked great. You can find this at a pretty decent price online so give it a try if you want something different. I did not have the caffeine free version but there is one of those. I may try it as a bridge between stimulant PWOs next time.

Cons:
  • Increased Energy
  • Good Value
  • Great Focus
  • Great Taste

Recommended My favorite pre-workout of all time. I'm a huge fan of all Dymatize products so I desided to give their pre-workout a try and was not disappointed. Great dosages of Arginine(3.5g)Beta-alanine(1.5g) and a full 5 grams of creatine. I felt tingling from the beta-alanine within 20 minutes of taking it and was ready to hit the gym. From start to finish I had a great pump and energy.

My only problem was you take it with 8-16 oz of water so I did have to take a couple bathroom breaks.

Recommended So I got this at my local GNC, when L-Argenine was just not cutting it anymore for pre-workout pump. I wanted to get Hemorage (to try) or Jack3d with which I had good success. I got Jack3d first and after 3 scoops of not feeling anything I went to GNC to see what else they have. The lady recommended Xpand Xtreme Pump, promising me Insane Beta Altaline Pumps, and if the product does not work can always return it for a refund.

Ingredients: Vitamin B3 (As Niacin & Niacinimide) - 36mg, Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxine HCL)- 17mg, Folic Acid - 400mcg, Creatine Citrate, Creatine And Di-Creatine Malate - 5g, Arginine A-AKG, Arginine HCL And Arginine Ketoisocaproate - 3.5g, Taurine, L-Leucine†, L-Isoleucine†, L-Valine† And Glutamine† - 5g, Beta-Alanine - 1.5g, Waxy Maize, Glycerol Monostearate And CinnulinPF® (Cinnamon Extract)(Bark) In A Complex Carbohydrate Base - 1g, L-Tyrosine, Methyl Xanthines (Caffeine), Glucoronolactone, Phenylalanine, N-Acetyl L-Cystine, L-Histidine In A Blend Of Complex Carbohydrates, Hydrogen Citrate And Silicon Dioxide 3.35g.

Taste: 10/10 - I got the blue raspberry flavor. The taste is amazing. Even though you just drink it down with 8oz of after, it was pleasant taste.

Focus 9/10 - Man oh man, did I love this product on focus. I only did one scoop as per the recommendation of the directions 20 minutes prior to workout. Usually I find myself very motivated in the gym, but with that ADD type of behavior, where you know what you want to do, but some outside forces (cute ladies) distract you. But this product gave me steady tunnel vision. I did not want to look around, all I was concerned with was on the task at hand.

Pump: 6/10 - This is where the product did not do much for me. Although at times I did feel a small pump in the workout, it was not anything "Xtreme" or significant enough to rave about. It did make my veins pop out a lil bit on Bicep and Tri's days.

Energy - 10/10 - Wow, just wow. This deserves a 10 in energy. This product is CAFFEINE free. At first you feel the tingling of the Beta-Altaline on your lips so you know the product is going to kick in. Once it kicks in though, I felt the clean energy where, I felt as if I could go on forever. Even when I would follow with cardio after a heavy hard hitting workout of weights, I still felt that I could breeze through the workout. I did not yawn, I did not feel tired. I also like to do Boxing Bag workout 30-40 minutes after the workout, and this helped me from getting winded. I think it helped me with my endurance as well a bit.

Value: 8/10 - I got this for $40 for 800g. At 1 scoop at a time you can get up to 40 servings. I think the price is fair when the product actually works.

Recommendation: Definitively. I love this product. I do it as a pre-workout and sip on BCAA during as my intra-workout, and I can work out for hours without getting winded. It gives me the extra "umph" to keep going.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Great Taste
  • Very Motivated
  • Great Focus
  • Good Value
  • Increased Energy

I like this stuff, and agree with you on the pump. With a product with 'pump' in the title, it's a bit misleading. I tried the caffeine version, and the stims didn't do much, if anything, for me. Good review, if I buy again I'll likely get the caffiene free. Beware that the lemonade flavor only has 1.5g of beta alanine though, strange.

Recommended NOTE: This is for the CAFFEINE-FREE version.

I don't get why this has got so many poor reviews, I found it quite decent as a pre-/intra product. I either took one scoop preworkout or mixed half a scoop or one scoop with some additional bcaa's or eaa's and sipped it during my workout. No side effects here and I usually have a very sensitive stomach (maybe your problems resulted from the caffeine or the other stimulants of the regular version).

Profile (8/10): Xtreme Pump caffeine free contains an "arginine fusion" complex(3.5g), a "creatine matrix" (5g), Taurine, BCAA and glutamine (5g), beta-alanine (1.5g) and a "mental focus matrix, containing tyrosine, phenylalanine, etc (3.35g).

Quite impressive, I think, going beyond the scope of typical "pump products" that rely mainly on arginine. For me however, they could replace the arginine complex with citrulline, but this goes for many products. I could clearly feel the beta-alanine tingle (a feeling I actually like) but only when I used a whole scoop pre-workout. You can expect additional benefits from the bcaas and tyrosine, but for a perfect perfect product they could have left out the taurine and included more bcaas instead. I appreciate the creatine content. When you use one scoop on workout-days and half a scoop on rest days you don't have to take additional creatine. You might want to add more bcaas or essetntial amino acids, though.

Taste (10/10): I had the orange flavour, and it was the best-tasting amino-acid/pre-workout product I have tried. No artificial super-sweet "Jolly Rancher" taste (most products seemed to be marketed to kids these days). Just a light unobtrusive and natural taste. Blends great with other similarly flavoured products and enhances their taste.

Effectiveness (7/10): Obviously, I didn't expect a crazy energy rush from a caffeine and stim-free product but a slight energy increase. Xpand put me in a good mood but did not really energize my workout. Recovery time between sets and between workouts seemed to be shorter than without it, comparable to straight bcaas. The pump is there, too, again noticeable but nothing extraordinary. Slight strength increases were there too, probably because of the creatine, but not immediately.

Value (10/10): Quite cheap, I pay €28 (roughly $40) for a forty-servings container. For this I get a creatine and pre-intra product that lasts me about two months.

Conclusion: I liked Xpand and will continue to buy it, but I consider it rather a great-tasting, inexpensive creatine/ amino-acid product that slightly improves workouts and recovery than a "nitric oxide reactor" that generates "explosive strength and focus" as advertised.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Slight Energy Increase
  • Decreased Recovery Time Between Sets
  • Good Value
  • Great Focus
  • Great Taste

Recommended I love this product for the price. It compares to so many others these days which contain creatine, a nitric oxide component, etc. Also has BCAAs and glutamine which many products don't. Great pre-workout or during workout. I get a blast of energy, which lasts for hours. Great for strength gains too. It made me a little nauseas at first, with some Diarrhea. Now I take with a tiny bit of food and that seems to help.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Increased Energy
  • Builds Muscle
  • Good Value
  • Nice Pump
  • Great Focus
  • Sweat Alot
  • Diarrhea

NOT Recommended I bought this from an online store,so it cost me 35€ (i´m from Spain so this is a normal price). This was latest supplemen I´ve tried after SuperPump 250,HemoRage,Jack3d and some others and in mi oppinion it´s as impressive as an elephant turd. Here I go:

Pros:I don´t realy know if there is some, but the only thing that pleased me was the retarded fatigue,u can call it higher energy or what u want(but it realy doesn´t give u energy to lift more, just last little more).
-The best point could be the focus, but doesn´t last for more than 40 mins.
-Good mixability:but good mix without effect is nothing

Cons:Prepare your self for the finest part:
-I felt itchy as a sweaty @sshole (due to the 2.5g of beta-alanin)
-Some jitters in the stomach as a result of god knows what compound of all(as more than one can cause it),so i felt as a 1ºweek pregnant 15-years-old girl.
-When i got the top dosage, which is 2 scoops=30~40g,got a horrible headache like a blind surgeon was practicing me a lobotomy
-Now I´ll Reveal the worst part for me = de horrible "Turd effect™" Dymatiza should be waiting the patent,no doubte.Don´t be alarmed it´s not diarrhea, its most like when u finish training or nearly finifhing u have the feeling that your @ss is preparing to launch a space-shuttle to Jupiter and its true.
-No Energy - this product provides the same energy that an 80 years old man posses, about 0, so don´t expect to become Hulk.
-Taste:i bought fruit punch, and i rather prefferd to be punched by a professional boxer than drink it.

Conclusion:There are lots of tested products that work, taste good and has lower price,my personal recomendation is:"Don´t even consider spending your hard earned money on this stuff",and if I was to recomend an alternative it would be SuperPump250(amazing result form me).

See u

Recommended I'll say this at the very beginning; I am not a fan of the super concentrated pre-workout supps. You can't get effective doses of arginine, creatine, or Beta Alanine in a 3 gm scoop. Instead, the fill these scoops with caffeine and 1, 3 dimeth. to give you insane energy. Xpand doesn't do this. With 3 gms arginine, 5 gms creatine, and 5 gms of ajipure amino acids, this is one of the most complete pre workouts I've ever tried. I got the fruit punch and the taste was alright. I got good pumps from this product and gave me a great mental focus. The energy wasn't mindblowing, but I am very caffeine tolerant, so no preworkouts really blow my mind in that regard. Found this for 35 bucks (40 servings) and considering the 5 gms of ajipure amino acids in every serving. If you're looking for a crazy stimulant buzz from this product, you may be a little disappointed, but if you want (perhaps) the best all around pre workout supp in regards to ingredients that provide more muscle building ingredients, then you should give this a try.
