Dymatize Nutrition

Founded in 1994, Dymatize is based in Munich, Germany.

Dymatize is not a company, but a brand owned by Active Nutrition International GmbH. The parent company’s other brands include PowerBar and Premium Protein.

The Dymatize website tells readers that its mission is “perfecting athletic nutrition”. It says it “renounces compromises” to create the best products for athletes who strive “perfection”. All products adhere to cGMP-certified facilities. This ensures also products go through rigorous testing to create “only the highest-quality” products.

The brand has won several awards over the years. Its ISO 100 whey protein isolate powder won the Bodybuilding.com “Best Isolate” award for the fifth time in a row from 2013 to 2017. It also won three awards from Bodybuilding.com in 2017. These include “Best Women’s Product of the Year” for ISO 100, and “Best Gainer of the Year” for Super Mass Gainer.

Dymatize says all products derive “from high-quality, pure intact proteins”. In other words, the brand does not add extra amino acids to boost protein content, which ensures optimal bioavailability. With this in mind, it perhaps comes as no surprise that ISO 100 is the brand’s best-selling isolate worldwide.

Also as part of its vow to create products of “verified quality”, Dymatize promises “label integrity” and “transparency” to reassure customers they’re buying good supplements.

As further evidence of this, Dymatize products undergo thorough third-party testing. For example, many supplements have been tested by the Informed-Choice and Informed-Sports programs to show they are free from banned substances.

Brand endorsers (or “athletes”) include Ariana James (bikini and fitness model), Arash Rahbah (Olympian IFBB Pro Classic Physique), and Mike Hildebrandt (NPC Empire Classic Men’s Physique D Winner and Overall Winner).

Dymatize is also the “supplement brand of choice” for Chip Smith Performance Systems (NFL combine training), Fightshape (nutrition and training for professional boxers), and Legends Sports Complex (woodlands sports facilities).
