Answer #1: | Sounds like you may have hit a plateau. You may want to start incorporating Drop Sets, Super Sets, and Negatives into your routine or at least change up your routine to start seeing some further results. As far as your question goes, that would be fine. Use the Hydro whey first thing in the morning and post workout, use the muscle milk for a meal replacement once or twice a day. |

Answer #2: | If you're using the hydro whey to bulk, you HAVE to add in some carbs with the shake. Go to a supplement store or a home brew store and ask for dextrose.
As for the plateau, manimal has some good pointers, but also if you decrease training frequency it'll give your muscles mroe time to recover. I've noticed good strength gains in a couple weeks of working out once every 2 days instead of 5-6 days a week |

Answer #3: | My only strife with Muscle Milk is the high fat. I admit that I am a huge fan of the taste of it and have used it several times. If you did not however gain mass using the gainers but gained more on the MM, you may want to look at other variables that occured the first time you used MM.
Example, had you taken a long break and just started lifting again while taking MM? If so, that could have explained the weight gain. If you were at a plateau or had been bulking too long when you tried the other gainers, it's possible you needed a break in between to allow your body to re-adjust and metabolism to slow down again before bulking again. This is why you should bulk in cycles.
I am not saying it isn't possible for you to gain weight on MM, but there are certainly better options for bulking that will lead to less fat accumulation while making faster gains. I have cycled ON's Pro Complex Gainer 3 times now (over 40lbs of the stuff in the 3 cycles) and each time gained up to 10lbs in a couple months but only lost 1-2lbs after the bulk ended. To me, this is by far and away the best results I've had with gainers and my diet has been consistent with all of them.
Look into your diet before anything else, including your workouts. If you aren't eating enough, you simply will not grow. Then, look at your workout routine and mix it up. Shorter workouts, more volume and more rest work well for me on bulks. Finally come the supplements. Stick to a good creatine like Kre-alk or any other version that works for you and some whey for post-workouts. PC Gainer or Isomass work well for post-workouts as well as between meals. Give them a shot if you have the money, but remember diet is first! |

Answer #4: | here's my opinion:
- use Hydrowhey first thing in the morning/post workout.
- instead of Muscle Milk, switch to Syntha 6 and use it as a meal replacement/before bed.
Syntha 6 is a much better protein for bulking than muscle milk. Syntha 6 is sustained released so taking it before bed will help keep you anabolic for muscle building. so you're pretty much eating while you're sleeping. |

Answer #5: | Muscle milk has casein and milk proteins in it which are slow digesting, making it a good bedtime protein. It also has vitamins and minerals which syntha 6 doesn't have. |

Answer #6: | Muscle Milk and Syntha-6 are mostly garbage in my opinion. Honestly, I only find Muscle Milk any good if I'm on the run and can only pick something up at the store... even then I'd rather just eat beef jerky. Oh, I won't even bother with Syntha-6 to give it a review. |
