Recommended I've been using Muscle Milk Collegiate since I was a Freshmen at USC. CytoSport sponsors the USC athletic department so we get unlimited product.
I came in to college as a Freshmen weighing 160 pounds. After 4 years of training, taking various pre-workouts, but staying dedicated to drinking 1 collegiate Muscle Milk after every workout, I graduated at 185 pounds. Putting on 25 pounds of solid muscle being a Track and Field athlete is tough. Regardless, Muscle Milk collegiate provided me with the calories, the nutrients, and the proper dosage of protein to stay lean while adding valuable muscle that helped me excel as an athlete.

I recommend this post-workout to anyone looking to add some serious size while looking to stay lean. Its great tasting and has everything a high school, college, or pro athlete needs to be the best.

Enjoy,
JM

Recommended I've been using this product for about 2 months
I bought this specifically because of it's high caloric count. I still have a fairly fast metabolism so my thinking is with a good workout regime and diet the extra fat should sort it self out by the end of the day. I believe the serving size is 4 scoops in milk or water and caloric count will vary a bit. I use it upon waking I fix a shake in milk and shaved ice I will typically do 2 scoops in about 8-12 oz of milk. this is typically my first meal 7-7:30am and gets me through the commute to work. I will also fix a whole meal breakfast consisting of 2 eggs 2 pieces of turkey beacon and 2 small pancakes this come out to about 400 calories (IHOP - now has this on their menu, go figure). The second breakfast usually comes in at about 10:30am The rest of day is strictly whole foods fish/chicken vegetables and multivitamins a little Prime during the day. The addition of the extra calories introduce by the richer shake has my body weight up at 175-177 (I've been as low as 170 with same diet and regular Muscle Milk) with just about the same definition. so I've picked up about 2-5 pounds in the month using the product and the leg and core definition is still holding. This product definitely works for me in my caloric maintenance mode that I have been using it for. I typically only take this product once a day though if I'm not working out and maybe a second time after workout depending on how I feel I usually opt for the whole foods when possible but, this product is working for me and will continue in supplement rotation.

This isn't meant to be used post workout because of the fat content. It is more for a meal replacement.

you cant down a supplement if you made the mistake to buy a gainer while your watching your carbs, every gainer ive taken has atleast 90 grams carbs my favorite gainer has 132 grams carbs you bought the wrong product and reviewed it as if it was for cutting.
