Hey what's up SR.com members. It's time for my review on REDuction AM shot from Controlled Labs. There's not a whole lot to explain on this one so I will keep it short and sweet. I have now gone through 2 whole tubs of this stuff. Took the first one and a half bottles during this holiday season for appetite suppression. And just finished the remainder of the second bottle within these last two weeks for just a steady low stim cut while waiting on another product to get to me.

Ingredient Profile:
This product is supposed to be CL's take on a low stim thermogenic but they came up with a unique formula for this one.

Natural Caffeine 200mg
Raspberry Ketones(Rubus Idaeus) 150mg
Cocoa Extract(99% Theobromine) 100mg
Citrus Aurantium Extract(60% Synephrine alkaloids) 33mg

Overall Effectiveness: 7/10
First off this product was much different then other thermos I have taken in the past like MP Shred Matrix and OEP. Not only because of the powder form, but because of it's effects and it's intent of being low stim. I took 1 serving size first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with a couple of ounces of water 30 mins before first meal of the day. I cannot claim any loss of weight or fat to this product alone, based solely on that I took it during the holidays and only used it for 2 weeks for cutting while waiting on another product to get to me.
------------Appetite Suppression(8/10)-------
This product did a pretty good job of suppressing my appetite. By the time the 30 mins was up I felt that I did not have as big of appetite as I normally do in the mornings. The appetite suppression lasted about 4-6 hours for me. I felt it helped me keep my portions in check. Which was great during the holidays because we all like to have some of the turkey and gravy right?

I experienced little extra energy from this personally. I felt as if I had a slight extra bounce in my step but nothing spectacular. Wore off in about 45mins as well but this is designed to be a low stim formula so I wasn't expecting anything like OEP or Shred energy and wasn't much concerned about this aspect of the product. There wasn't any crash though, which was a plus.

I felt a slight increase in body temperature while taking this. The feeling was nothing spectacular, I definitely didn't break out in sweat or was sweating all day and it only lasted a couple of hours if that.

Taste: 3/10
Taste was what Controlled Labs calls sour apple. Tasted something like cheap apple flavoring mixed with the taste of Nyquil to me, really the only way I can describe it. Definitely has a distinct chemical aftertaste to it as well. Taste wasn't that big of concern though with the small serving size and I eventually started adding in some Appletini Chain'd Out into the mix.


Mixability: 8/10
REDuction mixed pretty well with a couple of stirs using a spoon and glass considering the small amount of water needed. Didn't leave any clumping or anything like that. There was some residue left over on the spoon and bottom of the glass.

Value: 9/10
Got this a couple of months back during when Bodybuilding.com was doing a buy one get one free promo on select CL products. So I got two tubs for 15$. The tubs lasted a total of 60 days, meaning that the price per serving per day was .25$. That's a great deal for me considering I had an overall decent experience with this product.

I didn't know what to expect with this product in the beginning. I was hoping for a little more boost in energy and thermogenisis then what was delivered. It did however exceed my expectations on suppressing appetite which was really the main reason I purchased this product to begin with. Furthermore, I believe that this product can used as a solid foundation for creating your own low stim cutting stack, if you throw in some Green Tea or something of that nature. I will most likely be giving this product another run sometime in the future. So if you are looking for trying something new, a beginner to stims, or wanting to take a break off of a high stim product I would recommend this.

A long while ago I finished a full 30 day supply of both Reduction AM and PM, as well as a few sample Reduction "shots" that I got as free samples from Controlled Labs and suffice to say, I was satisfied with the product. I lost a percentage point or two on my body fat and consider myself sort of an oddball case in the sense that my diet is pretty bad (1) and I don't eat that much anyway (2). I can't say with certainty that I lost that percentage point of body fat due to this product, but my gut feeling is that it helped.

In any case, the AM formula is supposed to suppress your appetite and give you a boost of energy. While the "natural caffeine" stim boost was nice on those mornings I couldn't really get up and go, I had to stagger it (as per CL's recommendation) so that I didn't OD on caffeine on the days I'd take a pre-workout. I found it hard to quantify the appetite reduction, if there was any, because I'm not a big eater anyway.

The PM formula was so-so. In the shot form, despite the fact that I liked the taste, it was nausea-inducing. That is, I drank the shot, enjoyed drink it, and then felt extremely nauseated about 5 minutes later. I didn't have this problem with the pills, but there's some ingredient that didn't really agree with me because sometimes I'd feel my stomach rumbling after I'd take my PM tabs. Did I sleep better on these? Well, I didn't sleep any worse and I experienced the odd sensation where my stomach was really, really warm a while after taking the tabs. Thermogenics in action or just my imagination? Hard to say.

So would I invest in REDuction again? Hmmm... Given that I seem to be sensitive to something in the PM formula, I'm going to stick to Fish oil/CLA/caffeine for the time being. However RED is not a bad buy if you're already dieting and exercising and you're in the market for something that might help you sleep better and help speed that diet along.

Hey everyone another Controlled Labs reveiw. im really supprised no one has review this yet. it has 2 different fat burners, one for morning and one for night. both have next to no stims which is good for ppl who dont like them. I have been a fan of Controlled Labs for awhile thanks to orange tirad and White Flood.

Price=9 its a little better than average price for a one months supply at around 25 bucks

weightloss=7 its ok i lost 4lbs on this stuff. on a side note at this point i have lost 92lbs so its stubborn fat.

energy=5 this wasnt meant to give you energy, but it has a little caffine (around a cup of coffee) in the A.M formula.

Thermogenic=7 an ok sweat here. in the am only but nothing to write home about.

sleep=7 i added this because of the PM formula. this is my first sleep supplement which was pretty much GABA. the only thing i noticed was the first 2 weeks it was really hard for me to wake up. but i didnt sleep any faster.

Profile=9 wow a lot of ingridiants I have never heard of before.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a very low stim fat burner. i really liked the night time side of it. also its a very decent price. so far Controlled Labs makes good products and this isnt any exception. I have Blue Up and purple wrath in my trunk waiting to be used and reviewed.
