i've had this product a few times so i'm going to share my thoughts on this. basically what this is a slightly "slimmed" down version of BSN Syntha 6, which i already have reviewed so i will try to keep this short and simple.
Ingredients: per one serving/scoop - calories 150, saturated fat 1g, carbohydrates 8g, dietary fiber 1g, 2g sugar, protein 21g, few vitamins/minerals, BCAAs (specific amounts not listed).
Protein Matrix Comprised Of (Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate [Milk & Soy], Micellar Casein [Milk & Soy], Whey Protein Isolate [Milk & Soy], Egg Albumin [Egg], Calcium Caseinate [Milk], Milk Protein Concentrate [Milk]
Effectiveness: morning, evening, pre/post workout, before bed, this worked well for me just like Syntha 6 did. it can be taken any time due to the protein blend it contains, with different absorption rates. it can also be used as a snack too in-between meals, didn't make me completely full but could hold me over 2 hours or so until a meal. also, i never really noticed any type of fat gain from this either.
Taste/Mixability: Fresh Cinnamon Roll - hands down probably one of the top 3 tasting proteins i've ever had, absolutely awesome. creamy, thick texture that goes down smooth. thrown in a blender bottle and shaken for a good 30 seconds and it usually mixes up fine, barley any clumps if any.
Value: it only comes in 1.39 serving size tub, 18 servings for $18.99. i bought my most recent one from GNC for $23. neither price is that great for a the amount of servings you get. i wish they made this in larger size containers.
Overall: i think it is a good product, better choice to use as a snack over other stuff that's out there. taste is good, it can be used any time of the day for any reason really. only down fall with this is the amount of servings for what it costs and i wish it listed the actual amount of BCAAs it contains.
