Recommended I decided to give these a shot after seeing them on the counter at my local bodybuilding supplies store. I figured for the price, and the guaranteed high protein content, if they tasted OK it would be well worth the money.

They are easy to mix, require only milk to be added, and cook up well. I found making smaller, thicker pancakes was best and meant no trouble flipping. The larger ones tended to stick (might just be my pan).

They taste quite sweet, and wouldn't need much of a topping if you were watching your calories and didn't want to add sugary toppings. If you don't care, like me, you'll add butter and a touch of honey and enjoy them fully.

Overall, they are better tasting than anything I've made for myself, and certainly much higher in protein (about 70gms a pack). I'd recommend these if you are a lazy cook like myself, or time limited and need something you can travel with.

Cheers. The quoted protein rate is with full cream milk added, so plenty coming from that.

I've made these about 10 times since the review and I still love them! I have even put in a sneaky extra scoop of plain unflavoured protein (about 30gms worth) and mixed it in without any major issue. that way, you get about 10 panckaes per mix. Add just a little extra milk if you do this. Also, make sure you use a hot, flat bottomed, non-stick pan. If you do, perfect nutricious pancakes everytime. :)
