Just started taking it and WOW it does cause bad gas and semi diarrhea.
As far as the chunks are concerned, i mix one scoop with a 2 to 3 ounces of hot hot water and shake for a few secs. This breaks up the chunks completely as it dissolves very easily with the hot water. Then i top it off with 5 or so ounces cold cold water from the fridge.
I have vanilla and it tastes pretty damn good! Got the 2lb container for 11 bucks at Kroger on sale.

Bang for your buck you just can't beat this stuff. Wal-mart 14.99...so what. Taste isn't the best but what healthy food tastes like a ribeye folks?! This is good stuff. I mix it in the blender with a pack of splenda with ice and 6-7 0z of water. I do two of these a day and I have definitely gotten fuller muscle definition and leaner in the past 4 weeks of using this product.

While this is certainly not my #1 whey choice, it is often my back up choice when I run out of whey and need some immediately. I'll go to WalMart and get a jug.
Taste: 8/10
Not the best, not the worst. I have had every flavor, with Strawberry being the best. There is a little bit of grittiness, but that could probably be attributed to the creatine that is in it.
Mixability: 9/10
Mixes pretty well. Just be sure to add enough water.
Value: 8/10
I prefer to buy my whey in bulk, and when I do so it averages out to be about $7 a pounds. Whey has went up, so getting this product at about $8 a pound is not bad at all. Also, the Amino Acid profile is great, as well as the added creatine. Pretty solid supp IMO.
Effectiveness: 9/10
The protein is there, carbs are decent, and the fat is a little higher than I would like, but overall this product does what it's intended to do; provide a quality protein source.

This protein has done wonders for me.
After since I've started using it last month i've gained 11lbs in one month and my bench has gone up almost 30lbs since using.
I workout everyday so I make sure I get a big scoop about 1 and a half after everday in my blender cup.
I have the cookies and creme flavor. To me it actually taste good to the point where I would drink it for fun lol. But then I would get fat.
But honestly its a good protein to use. Its cheap and it actually works. I suggest you use it.

Although this product is from Wal-Mart I would no doubt the value one bit. A great profile with 8 grams of bcaas and creatine to go along so all the staple supplements are there also the 26g per scoop is definitely adequate for a post workout. Also doesn't hurt that it is one of the cheapest proteins you can buy.

All right guys heres a review for my go to in a pinch protien. Being in Afghanistan at the momenet there are times when shipping takes a little longer than expecxted, and I run out of my good whey isolate protien. This stuff here is the only supplement I will buy from the on post PX over here, because everything else is way over priced. Now to the review.
Dosing- 10/10 Its a protien powder nothing hard about doseing this I use it soley for post workout with a mix of dextrose and creatine. 1 scoop gives you 26g's 2 scoops gives you 52g's of protien I normally go 1 and a half.
Mixability- 6/10 this stuff clumps in my blender bottle, and is pretty grainy. Im assuming it's the creatine in this that makes it grainy. I just pound it down so this nor the taste really matters to me.
Taste- 6/10 I always go with the chocalate. I've tried the vanilla, but its definitely not for me. The chocolate is bearable, but if you've had any real good protien shake before you'll imediatly relize this isn't one of them.
Effectiveness- 8/10 It does what its supposed to do allows me to get protien in my sytem quick and easy after a hard workout. Its not the best quality stuff, but like I said it's the best as far as I feel in a pinch.
Side effects- Horrid gas this stuff makes my roomates hate me for the first few days. It eventually fades off, but when its happening Im clearing buildins with this stuff.
Value- 8/10 It's 18.50 for the 2lb tub out here. I know it can be found cheaper, but I'll only got the PX to choose from.
Overall- 8/10 I know there are better choices out there, but if you need a good protien and you waiting for a shipment of your regular stuff this will get you through.

I used this horrible protein for about a week and could not stand it anymore. They tried to dress it up by putting creatine in it, but they don't put enough in to make a difference. My stomach became terribly bloated. Spend the extra few dollars and get a quality protein. Trust me !!!

| Try to be a little more descriptive in your reviews. Take a look at some of the senior guys reviews. Bigworm, Manimal, JMlstocks to name a few. I do agree though this does give some serious stomach issues to me also. |

| I guess this is an okay protein but for beginners(no offence) I wouldn't use it unless you're on a budget. I suggest using elite whey, it's packed with essential amino acids or try Platinum Hydro-whey it's loaded with 8.8g of BCAA's, 30g of hydrolyzed whey protein and 2 net carbs per serving. |

I'll admit the first time I bought this I was skeptical. I got it from Wal Mart, and Wal Mart isn't exactly the first place I think of, when I look for quality supplements. The price was right, so I bought some. It wasn't the best Whey Protein I've ever used, but it was about 15 dollars for a 2lb jug. If you mix it with skim milk, the taste wasn't bad. I haven't tried cookies and cream though. I'd also recommend using a blender. I tried to pour powder and milk into a shaker, and shook it for at least 3 minutes, and it still had chunks. Not the best protein out there, but if you are on a budget, the price is definitely right. I made some good gains on my bench press with it. Up to 405 max the other day.

| @ celo. I like to eat a banana or some greek yogurt a little while before I workout, just to get a little food in my stomach and keep blood sugar levels good. You don't really need a meal for a few hours after you work out, if you take a protein shake. It will give you a couple hundred calories, and 30-40 g of protein, enough to get you by for a few hours, until you're next snack or meal. A small snack an hour to an hour and a half after your shake won't hurt anything. |

| It's not the greatest protein in the world but, it will get the job done. I recommend whey protein. Eat a good diet, high in protein, mix in some complex carbs, like baked potato, brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes. Foods like fish, lean beef, poultry, skim milk, cottage cheese, eggs or egg whites, vegetables, and fruits. Eat fresh if you can. An actual peach is better than canned peaches in sugary syrup. Eat a bigger breakfast, then a snack or a protein shake a few hours later, a good sized lunch, then another snack, then a lighter dinner, with a healthy snack a little later. Be sure you get enough calories, drink a lot of water, and hit the weights. I suggest, breaking your workouts into specific muscle groups, like chest and back, biceps and tri's, legs and abs. Drink a shake after any weight workout, that is when your muscles need protein the most for recovery. Good luck.
This is a good site to look at for different workouts and exercises.
