Recommended I didn’t want to sit on this review since this product should be in everyone’s gym bag. Today I will be throwing props up to All American efx’s k-otic. I picked this up dirt cheap so I gave it a shot thinking, this is going to be like a jack3d no more no less. I want to start off by saying I have a high tolerance to stims and to get me going a PWO has to be very strong, and it has to last so I can continue to focus on the task at hand. I have used a wide verity of PWO from drinks to pills and this one is in my top 3 for sure. Let’s go over k-otic and I hope you guy’s like this product as much as I do.

--------------------Taste6/10-----------------------------------

For such a strong PWO I was not expecting it to taste this good! I had the grape flavor and it was like a sour grape with my favorite chemical burn after taste. The reason why I gave it a 6 was a lot of people judge any type of drink by taste not by effect so I have to be honest and say that this is not Welch’s grape juice, it’s a work out drink. Also something to keep in mind you can mix this with a sport drink like Gatorade or power aid and it does help with the chemical burn.

---------------------Effectiveness / Focus 9/10--------------------------

This product was great, 20minutes after consumption I was ready to slay the iron or what ever else gets in my way. K-otic kept me in the zombie mode for my whole work out with enough energy and no crash after effect. I noticed my stamina was higher then it has been while on k-otic, this was a great feeling when you are trying to pound out one more rep for that deep burn. Now when I say “zombie mode” all of you who get in this mode know what I mean, you could punch me in the face during a set and all I want to do is move on to my next set. It was like there was no one in the gym but me when on this. This is the shinning point for this product if you need a PWO that will not only get you pumped up but focused to challenge a 1987 Mike Tyson for heavyweight championship, than you need k-otic. All you need is one scoop in 6oz of water and it’s on, I can say this from personal experience * DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT AT NIGHT!!* I had a 7pm work out and I dropped 1.5 of a scoop and I was up all night long it was crazy. So if you are a morning work out person like I am for the most part this is where it’s at.

-----------------------------Content 8/10--------------------------------

K-otic has a very impressive list of ingredients that will not only get you ready to destroy the gym but also give you a euphoric feeling for most the day. The thing that attracted me to k-otic was the 11.8g blend. I hate blends but when I started reading and researching the makings of this blend it was quiet intriguing to me. Here is a quick look of the stim heavy k-otic

Vitamin C 25mg 42
Niacin 25mg 125
Vitamin B6 2mg 100
Folate (Folic Acid) 400mcg 100
Vitamin B12 1g 1000
Calcium Carbonate 750mg 30
Caffeine 300mg
Psycho-Anabolic Proprietary Blend 11.8g
-Anabolic Strength & Muscle-Building Components:
--Kre-Alkalyn EFX (buffered creatine monohydrate), Taxadrol (hidafolia)
-Muscle-Gorging Compounds (All Dextro-Cyclodized):
--Beta alanine, arginine-alpha-ketoglutarate, citrulline-malate
-K-OTIC Delivery Accelerant & Uptake Matrix:
--KarboLyn, Phosphate
-Psycho-Intensifying, Sustained-Release Energy System:
--L-Tyrosine, 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, 3,7 Dimethylxanthine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine
--1,3 Dimethylxanthine, Kre-Alkaloid (white tea, black tea, green tea), DHB, Bioperine

As you can see this product has a small amount of kre-alk creatine in it but what really got me going was the beta alanine and the citrulline malate. I had a great pump for my whole work out and the tingle from the beta was felt all over. So I can say the blend is true not just fillers like most products today. Also as I stated in the previous sections the extended energy is no joke, it really does last for hours on just one scoop. I think the list speaks for it self no need to hype it anymore.

------------------------Price/ value 9/10-----------------------------------

When it comes to price I have to say 27.00 for a month and a half of work outs at 5-6 workouts per week, to me is not bad at all. Now people gat value and price confused all the time. I will break it down like this; value equals expectation and this product surpassed mine by a mile. For focus I would rank this just behind dark rage for pump I would rank it behind dark rage and white flood. And for a price that is cheaper then both of those products how can you go wrong? If you have not tried this price should not stop you since the value is far greater then price alone.

Overall this is my third favorite pre-workout and to be in the top three for me is huge since dark rage is #1 and white flood is #2 this product will now be in the rotation. I’m very happy with the performance and the outcome of k-otic and will put the hulk seal of approval on this one for you guys. If you haven’t tried it and are sick of the 3-5scoops of jack3d and the price of cellucor then give All American EFX K-otic a shot.

Maybe Recommended Ran this product a while ago. I have a love/hate relationship with it.

Price: 7/10. 50 dollars for 32 servings is a little steeper than average, if you have a GNC Gold Card get it during the gold card period. However though, this could be more than 32 servings depending on your tolerance. This product is VERY stim heavy.

Taste: 6/10. I had the fruit punch flavor... it was good for the first second on the tongue, otherwise it was chalky, tart, overly sweet, yet bitter. You can tell there was a lot going on with this product in the taste alone. Also has a really strong smell. But when it comes down to it, if you are concerned with the taste of your products you will get nowhere. It just helps.

Mixability: 10/10. Good stuff here. Had no problem dissolving all of the product in my shaker.

Ingredient Profile 8/10: K-Otic is VERY stimulant heavy. I recommend this product if you are used to every preworkout on the market and you want to try something new, and strong. The main stimulant ingredients in this product are 300mg of caffeine (equivalent to 4 shots of espresso), L-Tyrosine, 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, 3,7 Dimethylxanthine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, 1,3 Dimethylxanthine, DHB, Beta Alanine, Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate, Citrulline Malate, and lastly Kre-Alkalyn. So you can see here there are a lot of commonly, and less commonly used stimulants. This is a good preworkout for bigger (200+ pound) guys when it comes to serving size and effectiveness. I'm not giving this a 10/10 for the lacking of BCAAs, which is something I feel is pretty commonplace to do nowadays, and there is quite a bit of filler/sugea/flavor to it.

Pump & Energy: 7/10. This is where I had a love/hate relationship with this product. The amount of stimulants would REALLY get me going and get me exactly where I wanted to be. Energized, focused, tunnel vision, working hard. I found myself pushing much harder on this product than other PWO's I've tried, but after about a half hour or so, I would start to feel sick, very sick. This happened both with the 1 scoop serving doseage, and even at a 1/2 scoop.

During the workout I would experience a very sudden crash feeling tired, lethargic, sick. This commonly happened more during high intensity workouts opposed to slower strength lifting. With that said, I really do not recommend you do any cardio on this product, even as a warm up. Do your warm up cardio and then drink it. It is much more stimulant than you need in your body while running etc. For things like squats, deads, and bench taking longer resting periods between sets I would prefer this product because of the focus and strength it gave me.

The pump was okay, hit or miss. Sometimes I had it, other times not so much.

Overall I am giving this product a "Maybe" and final rating of 7 because it's a good product - for the right person. I would recommend this for someone who is tolerant to all the PWO's they've tried, even after cycling off. I would recommend this for bigger guys, and those who lift slower. Not so much for those who are fine with a PWO like Jack3d or White Flood, or those who do heavy cardio or fast working super sets.

Stacked this with: Sci-Fit Nitrox II, Sci-Fit Kre-Alkalyn 1500, AI Sports Motivate (Back and Legs day only)
Pros:
Cons:
  • A Lot Of Stimulants
  • Good For Pwo-tolerance
  • Increased Energy
  • Mixes Easily
  • Harsh Effects
  • Smells Bad
  • Bad Taste

NOT Recommended So i went to vitamin shop and was going to pick up some jacked. The manager tells me k otic is better in his opinion, So i thought ill try it out. I can say other than the flavor being DECENT and it mixing OK. This stuff gets my heart racing way too quick, keeps me out of breath and the pumps are weak. I tried going to half a scoop and thats better but i expected way more from the product. It actually has a crash effect where im yawning by the end of my workout. Everyone reacts different but this is just my review of the product.

Recommended now i know everyone goes on about how bad the fruit punch flavour is/was.. i didnt notice this as they upgraded the flavour and fruit punch is really nice, to all you fellow aussies it kinda tastes similar to west coast coolers.

anyways heres the low down

Taste: 8
as stated above it really doesnt taste bad at all for a pre workout, no pre workout will taste like a treat but thats not really what the aim is here anyways

Ingredients: 9
when it comes to ingredients there is almost nothing else id add to this mix it really is an amazing blend. kre-alk is featured in this supplement as the only form of creatine which in my books is a good thing as it reduces creanitine build up in the body which causes cramps/headaches/dehydration etc. the only thing it lacks is some BCAAs but most concentrated PWOs people bat over nowdays lack them as well so no biggy (add scivation xtend to your stack for intra.. problem solved)

Effectiveness: 8
i really enjoyed this product as it gives good energy focus pumps etc with little to no crash. so really happy here

Value: 9
good value pretty well priced considering the ingredients and servings (32 serves

to sum it up definitely worth a shot good building potential without the cracked out "jacked-type" hit

Pros:
Cons:
  • Only Uses Kre-al
  • No Creatine Monohydrate
  • Good Pumps
  • Increased Energy
  • Builds Muscle
  • Mixes Easily
  • Fruit Punch Frenzy Flavor
  • Lacks Bcaas But Thats Being Harsh

Recommended Grape doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't taste like much. Watery, which makes me somehow psychologically doubt it's potential. Fruit Punch Frenzy however, was a good taste, and gave me the same kind of feeling that the guy above me stated. I honestly can't quite describe it- but it's the kind of energy you want again. I won't compare that energy to any of the other PWOs I've taken (I've tried 7 others now). Flex Wheeler gave me a sample of this stuff at the NPC Bodybuilding Comp in SAN Jose recently, where I also got a sample of 1MR. I tried them on back to back days. K-Otic was better, believe it or not. It was a single serving of each, so I don't know if you need/should load up on 3 scoops or whatever, but the single servings available in the sample were adequate for a focused, energized workout. I ended up buying a tub directly from them for $20, which was amazing. Turns out the tub is grape, which I am going to exchange for a Fruit Punch Frenzy very soon.

Cons:
  • Mixes Easily
  • Fruit Punch Frenzy Flavor
  • Increased Energy

Recommended Interesting that I am the first to review this on this site since it has been out for a while now.
I gave this a 9 for value because I got a pretty good price on it at Muscle and Strength. $24.99 minus 20% coupon=$19.99. Not too bad especially for well it worked.
First the not so good. When you open the container you immediately smell a strong pundgent almost skunky smell. I was warned by a friend that had tried it but it still kind of took me back. Next, is the taste. If the PWO you use must taste good then this is not for you. I have tried several of the "big name" PWO's out there and this one easily is the worst tasting. For me, I don't really care as long as it works and K-Otic does.
It has a decent ingredient profile, at least I think, because like so many others out there it has a prop blend on the label. It does contain AAEFX Kre-Alk which is a good creatine. I asked AAEFX how much is in K-Otic and they said the equivalent to 3 caps. So, if that is correct then you don't need to take any more creatine if you want.
It has beta-alanine, AAK and citrulline-malate which helped me experience good pumps.
It is stim heavy and it hits you pretty fast. 300mg of caffeine and 1,3 dim in the prop blend among other stuff help to get you going quickly. The container says to take 15-20 minutes before you workout and that seemed to be just about how long it took for me each time to be Primed and ready to go.
As I said earlier, I have used many PWO's but K-Otic put me in a zone in a way that I had not experienced before. It was kind of weird yet very cool. It's a little hard for me explain how I felt. The one thing I do know is that I was always focused on my lifts. My mind very rarely wandered and I was always in that "zone".
I got about half way thru the tub when I picked up some Nitrox II and then it was really on! I already was experiencing pretty decent pumps with this but when I added Nitrox II it was incredible.
Overall, I gave this an 8 because I did like it and I am going to buy it again at M&S before they take it off of special. Although I did say that taste is not that important to me I felt it needed to be knocked a point because it really does taste bad. One last thing about the smell and taste, the more I took it the less the taste and smell became an issue. I really didn't notice it as bad near the end of the tub.
If AAEFX could fix the taste just a little, they would have a nearly perfect product. I definitely recommend this.
Pros:
Cons:
  • Good Pumps
  • Increased Energy
  • Builds Muscle
  • Good Value
  • Smells Bad
  • Bad Taste
